Guys, on iphone 7 plus if we double tap home button the screen will come down half way. Does iphone 8 plus can do the same?

Guys, for potrait mode is the same lens for iphone 8 plus & iphone x? Because i think i need to move farther away to shoot potrait mode on ip8plus compare with ipx.
