I am going to do a factory reset of my ip8+ later today. The overnight battery drain overnight with both wifi/LTE on is getting ridiculous . It used to be 3-4% but past 3 days it was 6-7% !!! Firmare 11.2.2 isn't energy efficient as previous

Why not wait and see if 11.2.5 fixes the drain?

How can that be normal when previous firmware battery drain overnight is maximum 1% and zero drain is common ??

Normally if you charged a 8 Plus to 100% and leave it as it is for 7-8 hours overnight, it may just drop 1% or not at all. That's pretty normal in iOS.

Yup thats about right for idle standby, but im asking Benny how is his batt life for normal usage. For me i can get 8 hours usage time with around 20+% juice left on average.

I am trying to remove my photos from gallery, but why iCloud photos will go to "Recently deleted" too? I thought iCloud should back up these photos, then I can delete it from my phone? Sorry, I am new to iCloud.

Doesn't looks good
Didn't use phone past 3 hours and battery drain 3%.
Will need few days to assess better
My ipad mini 4 zero drain at same time on same firmware

Yea. Otherwise ignore the battery standby drainage. If it can last 1 whole day, then happy enough right. Doesn't need to look for socket/power bank in the middle of the day.

It is only an academic exercise for me to compare with previous firmware. Yes phone if I use fully can last a day
Anyway is only my secondary phone
