Hi there. Would like to check on buying an Iphone X from a fellow forumer.
If the seller bought the Iphone X through Celcom EasyPhone and resell the phone.
Will the phone get blocked if the seller default his phone bill (payment for Iphone X and the phone bill)?
Thanks.

The phone will be tied to the seller's IC. Not really sure what you mean by default his phone bill.

If the seller suppose to pay RM100 (line charges) + RM150 (Celcom Easyphone for Iphone) and he defaulted the payment to Celcom, Will Celcom block the phone using IMEI or just bar the line only.

Interesting, your best bet will be enquire from the nearest blue cube outlet haha.

https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/services/easyphone/tnc CODE During the leasing period, should customer lose the leased phone or should it get stolen, they must follow the process for insurance claim for replacement via AmTrust Mobile Solutions. Replacement Customer needs to submit a police report on the loss of leased phone to Celcom and submit this together with their claim to Insurance partner.
Once, the submission for replacement is approved, customer to pay for the Excess Fee. For replacement of phone where needed, it will be replaced with new like-for-like model by Insurance Partner within 7 days. The Insurance Partner will update new IMEI of the replacement phone in Celcom’s system. The old IMEI will be blocked through another system and will be reported as lost device to SKMM. Maximum number of claims is up to 2 times per policy before the policy is terminated. From their T&C, so can i assume the seller can actually sell his phone away and report the phone as lost? and then celcom will actually block the IMEI of the phone so it become unusable. If that is the case then buyer please be careful especially buying from people who selling very attractive pricing that is on easy phone contract This post has been edited by selinix: Dec 14 2017, 08:37 AM
