Of course no charity but the distance was nearer compared to the original destination and I didn't really wanna cross over to puchong. So I was ok with it. Luckily I asked him about the destination beginning of the trip or else would be ended up letting him direct me few km to the final destination.

I will be fair to the pax and myself. If distance is nearer, no extra charge. If further, and I know I can get another job within that area, I'll charge RM10 more for him causing me to lose the next incentive

I apply the same here. I think we driver should protect ourselves since Crap don't give a crap

good instinct to confirm correct dropoff location BEFORE starting the trip....yes one city is better location then Puchong especially from BU. (can use NKVE/ELITE all the way)
Also most likely you would have gone LDP route if you see Puchong as your dropoff. which would suck.

yes, was using nkve and persiaran kewajipan... straight straight the go... took less than 25min. I feel suspicious and i would normally ask them whenever those foreign riders put the place name as their drop off point instead of road name or building name.

Same like me... My rider cancel n rebook again to change destination.. after 30s, i got ping 1 km away.. Feel sorry for her..

So crap has increased the min fare to rm5 and base fare to rm2. Last time they secretly round down the fare so i just wonder what they reduce this time?

Yesterday I requested Uber to go to Putrajaya Proton Service Center from Presint 14F. A driver accepted my request and I texted him the exact house number and he told me he was on the way. It was more than five minutes but I could see the driver didn't move one bit from Presint 14H so I waited until nearly 10 minutes than I cancelled the trip. The driver also asked me for my destination before hand and this really triggered me because I've never asked my riders' destination after accepting their requests. Maybe that is one of the reasons why my rating is 4.83 when I used to drive for Uber and if you used to drive for Uber, you know how hard it is to maintain 4.8 and above, unlike Grab.

This morning I checked my Uber rider app and I was charged with RM5 cancellation fee. What the hell Uber? I cancelled the request because the driver took so long to reach me and he didn't move from his spot. Furthermore the cancellation address was P14H, which was his location while I was waiting at P14F. These two are separated by a 1.3km road which can be covered in 3 minutes if you drive like an uncle. This driver also has a rating of 4.49, which is borderline low. My rating as an Uber rider is 5, because as a former Uber driver, I know which passengers I appreciate most so I try my best to emulate them.

I've made a report so I'll just wait and see. Hopefully Uber will reverse the fee to the driver instead of to me.

Who the hell driving New accord picking up passenger in usm? No wonder my rating drop so much last few days...

If you see driver rating very low, quickly cancel it.. my brother also kena the same tactic by uber driver, rating 4.29, and waited more than 20 minutes, the driver did not move... when u send in app to uber, they will reimburse you rm5...accept and wait if the driver rating 4.7 and above...

Thanks for the tip bro. I totally forgot I used to only accept requests from 4.8 and above riders only.

I was in a hurry at that time because I needed to collect my car at the service center and had to go to Kajang to submit my business requirements.

I've been credited with RM5 by Uber but I still get a notification saying that I owe them RM5.

By the way, this driver clearly messed up with the wrong person. I had a good look at his photo and realized I used to see him around my area quite often. If I ever bumped into him I will set the record straight, by mouth or by steering lock 😂

By the way does this mean that if a rider cancels the request after 5 minutes of it being accepted, Uber will charge RM5 on the rider? 👇
