I want to share a funny story this morning. I accepted a short trip gs job around 8:55 and soon after i accepted it another gs job came in. Both pickups were at the same location and the 1st rider has a malay lady name and the 2nd rider has a chinese lady name.

I waited almost 5min then i saw 2 men and a lady exited the lobby and walked toward me together. 1st thing in my mind was oh fuck, not again. However, i didnt cancel the job because it was the 1st job in my mp hour therefore i need it desperately. I cancelled the 2nd job since the 2nd rider didnt read and reply my message.

After i arrived the dop, the lady left the car immediately but both men still sit inside my car. A minute later i asked why they still here then only i notice that they were the 2nd rider! They also curious why i cancelled them upon aboard but they didnt say anything about it. Wtf this really caught me by surprise! MCB two arabian men with a chinese lady name.

Luckily their destination was nearby and they still agree to pay the same price. Just too bad i lost rm3 of incentive.

The rider said he saw the cancellation notice upon boarding which means he has the phone that made the booking.

Oh yeah his name was 'summer lee'. I was actually expecting a pretty young energetic girl.

I off b2b if need to go through a toll. Problem solved.

Apparently a lot of riders learn the trick nowaday. I already get used to it. Just in this case, they caught me by surprise.

Speaking of these annoying Arabian remind me that there was a RM30 job when i was still new. That rider was rude, made a lot of noise and extra stop request without asking nicely.

He mistakenly threw 3 pieces of RM20 into the seat upon arrival and walked away without closing the door. He was not aware of his mistake because it was dark at the DOP. Normally I will return the extra money to the rider but this asshole really pissed me off. So I buat tak dao shj fast fast grabbed the money and ran away.

These retarded crappy geniuses behind the aircon office never thought of the idea of dynamic search radius depending on time and location. I guess they prefer to spend all their time on inventing a new method screw drivers or just fucking each others around the office.

The new e-hailing law begins with effective from tomorrow 12 July 2018 with 1 year grace period.

I estimated RM500 for PSV + Medical checkup + Puspakom inspection + 6hour lecture which is still acceptable. The killing one is insurance, easily thousands. Crap should get a insurance company to insure on trip basis and the riders should bear the insurance fee.

While commission capped at max 20% is a bad news IMHO. It is fair enough for HG driver but it is just too much for flexi driver.

Valid ID for rider is a good news. Those asshole rider who perma-ban is now perma-ban, of course crap can simply ignore it as long as they get a new phone imei new number new email for registration. However be prepared for shrink of demand since a lot of illegal immigrant can no longer order crap.

Max 2x surcharge is a bad news for flexi but not much impact for HG.

btw, can we now wait at taxi pickup/dropoff outside commercial buildings/train station and use taxi/bus lane?

I had done a test to find out whether the job ping will always assign to the nearest drivers. What i found was this is not necessary true. The 1st or 2nd (or 3rd) attempt will usually goes to the 'really' nearest driver but it is not necessary true if the 1st/2nd driver didnt accept the job.

U can do the same test by comparing the time u receive the ping and the time on job history. Say if 20 drivers available at tbs and the ping goes to all of them, then it would take at least 20 x 10sec = 200sec before reaching a driver who is a few km away. So if the difference is always more than 200sec then u can say with high certainty that your hypothesis is correct. However this was clearly not the case when i conducted the test last time when the countdown was still 15sec. So i can say almost for sure that crap is the one who screwing u.

The test was obvious and conclusive last time because of the 15sec countdown. It may a bit difficult now because they shorten the countdown but i think it is still doable.
