Well if you opt for hourly guarantees you get quite abit of incentives, focusing on small fares and high volume. I used to to chase that, stopped for 6 months and since I'm in flexi for now, am filtering fares and just picking up high fares since I'm doing part time.. Decent I guess

What is your definition of high fare?

RM10 above? RM20 above?

No point taking high fare only. Best is to take all rides except for GS and for places you don't want to go. Then your incentives can cover their commission and cover their routing error like u know RM14 for 18 km.

getting more and more stressful for this week, pick up point getting far and far, give u job 2-3km away instead of nearby one. At sunway mentari give me Mcdonald LDP one instead of Sunway Pyramid

Uber's fare is quite reasonable now after they raised it. Quite consistently can get around RM1 per km. Short to medium distance still sort of more worth it. Because minimum fare now RM3 and short to medium distance usually have to go through traffic light and speed bump so the time factor increases. Long distance can be quite punishing sometimes if you can complete the trip fast. The rate now is 70 sen per km and 30 sen per minute.

And the most important thing is Uber calculates the fare based on your actual travelled distance and time. Not like Grab use ruler to calculate distance. At least when jam you won't die so hard like Grab fixed fare.

Seems the B2B has a 'sweet spot' of how near/close to your dropoff, where it will favor (or at least fair) to the driver.

give u tip....turn on your available button only when you <400m from your dropoff (or 1-2 mins). not guaranteed, but I noticed the job allocation for next job much more reasonable like this. Turn on too far away, chances are you will get ping that is very near to your dropoff, but jobs that no one wanted, hence system throw to you even when you are far away. Turn on only after you hit drop off...that's when I get all those >3km pickup distances.

I agree this strategy can work on days like today Sat night....the UP block I get high fares of $35, and $30 with demand surcharge >=100%. end up one UP block I earned $55, the other $47 gross. then the next two HP block I play incentive (4 and 3 jobs per hour).

It doesn't work at all, i tried both way and it is still the same.

That area once out of driver, the radius will open longer (from 1km to 2km), if cannot get then open up till 3km. Anyhow u will still kena.

It happen when i at Puchong, kena job at BK, rider cancelled then kena again job at BK.

actually yesterday I was so lucky after kena buang to Z residence, to only have do one short job in OUG (guess which clientele), then get a longish/medium trip from Taman Yarl to KL. take and run.

u unlucky in Sunway. I was there 8pm onward, get multijob also from NAdayu, two amoi's 1st stop to pickup their kaki nearby then drop off at condo opposite lagoon perdana. easiest stress free multistop.
4 jobs that hour block also. I saw the jam at the u-turn to pyramid....but after 830 died down a lot.

Petronas near setiawangsa lrt will give you that rm5 minyak hitam discount.
The one near Sri hartamas 1,gets you lazada codes.

Will try other branches.

Was expecting getting job at IOI mall or Taman Wawasan side, didn't expect to get until BK that far.

Drive at the morning in PJ also same thing happen, pick up point all 2-4km. Imagine that road with traffic light

At least lazada code is usable
