I think the so-called same area is same address, says same pick-up point 3 in a row in 1 hour, not really area, cuz I'd been practised playing at same area for the whole day for a year but different pick-up points... so far nothing happened.

one of criteria customer like to give low rating, late pickup.
late pickup; either customer cancel booking or driver pickup customer (stupid customer that is), get low rating.
usually drivers get low ratings due to customers bad mood.
some customer die die give 5 star whether good or bad service
some prefer give 4 star as standard good service instead of 5
some give 1 star if that time got period time (bad mood)
some give 5 star depends on cars (5 if get city, 2 if local p1 p2 cars)

so ikut nasib

p/s: new drivers please take note. normal when ratings drop. rating can increase. the first few times can be heart breaking, but after a while, learn to overcome it, just drive as usual and you will see yourself (that ratings is not everything).

Yesterday jb area damn frust, got one aunty ping use location only have road name and its raining some more. I call she say even number address and have tree in front of house. Yes i kena twice because of that crap new UI, luckily no need cancel or else i have to call CS and wasting 5-10min on that cancellation alone.

Now some riders so smart and kuai lan. When they see eta more than a few mins they request drivers to cancel. No need to layan them. If they cannot wait they should cancel, not drivers.

Very seldom I would cancel the trip unless it's to places that are jam or balik kosong.

Yesterday gotten quite a number of above 6km pickup. Highest was 8km++. Pick up time average 15minutes.

Hence I always try to just play at places I'm familiar with.... But as u know grab, play play play sure kena tendang somewhere else.

Maybe can avoid that by changing the settings to avoid Unpaved Roads?
