what does the aerosol cleaner actually clean? the outer radiator grill or ? and the smell was outside only or it came out from the air-cond ( interior ) ? if it work can have a try since it was cost effective.
how long your exora dint go for air-cond service d?
actually what service does a car air-cond need? i can go to air-cond shop and the person might not advice a proper service , mostly just add gas etc , what was a proper maintenance anyone know?
I bought my Exora back in June 2015. Never went for an air-cond service until September last year when one of those things(no idea what it's called) was damaged due to low air-cond gas, so my compressor had to work twice as hard. Not only that, my blower will only work if it was switched on to speed number 3 and 4.
Since that day, I learned that I need to go for an air-cond service every 30,000km, which of course I never do, even until today except for the filter which is dead easy to clean by yourself 😂
That aerosol cleaner acts as a dissolvent only. It will dissolve dusts in your vents and blower and the dirty fluid will be channelled out through the pipes. Basically, the cleaner your blower is, the less power it needs for it to work at an optimum level, thus the lower your FC will become.
If you go for a full air-cond service, they will top-up your air-cond gas, check for coil leakage if there is any, and they will clean your air-cond filter and blower thoroughly. They will dismount your dashboard/glove comparment and they will disassemble your blower to clean every single blade. This is the best type of cleaning you can give to your blower.
I would still suggest to check your gas level after every 40k-50k because many air-cond problems usually start from here.
