Do you guys use Ron 95 or 97 when you drive for Grab?

I've used both for my Exora and honestly, there isn't that much difference in performance and FE for the same litres between the two.

I suspect Proton cars don't discriminate whether you use 95, 97 or even 100. All is the same to them πŸ˜‚

Just now got rm30 surcharge from Klang to Kajang. Haven’t been driving for quite sometimes and lost touch whether it is good or bad at this hour.
*
I realize that fares from Klang and the areas nerby can be quite high compared to KL for distance travelled.

My friend who lives in Saujana Utama near Sungai Buloh have ferried many riders from there to Setia Alam for RM65. The distance between the two points is around 20km only. The best for him was Saujana Utama-Broga-Saujana Utama. One way trip is RM150 for 85km. Return trip is enough for one day's income.

it should be like this all this while.
so if got trip request out of town to another state, you still can receive ping and SD back to your location.
*
Of course, masturbate man.

Like the other day I received a 6-seater ping from Kajang to Melaka for nearly RM300. I was very tempeted to accept it but alas I decided against doing so because it would be a waste to do so very early in the morning.

This kind of 'bullish' news always come with a blindspot. Yes, he can do it but for how long? Can he repeats such an extraordinary performance 3 times a week continuously? Without considering the exchange rate, sgd38 per hour is just on par with most of the experienced economic car drivers.

IMO how much u make per day has nothing to be proud of because u just exchange long driving time with more money. It is always how much you make per hour that matters.

That fellow did it just to challenge himself, not anybody else.

He even advised others against doing what he did. He doesn't even want to do it on a regular basis.

MyCar is having a problem right now. Even the rider's toll fare is deducted 15% from the driver.

As much as I hate MyCar for starting the price-slashing war, if they're this stupid, then it means Grab won't have to do shit to improve their own platform.

Anyone who's doing this fulltime and is nearing 40 or is above that age?

Do you guys still keep in touch with your old friends? Most of my mates are so far ahead with their lives, that I'm feeling a bit embarrased to go and hang out with them. I have even been totally quiet in my high school Whatsapp group for over a year now because of different wavelengths πŸ˜‚

There's actually a sweet spot between KLIA and Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and it's not unusual to get high fares during non-peak hours in that area too.

I won't tell you where it is, you've got to find it yourselves comrades. It's my fishing pond after a KLIA trip (if I still have time to kill).

Hi. My AR 40% currently. Should I go offline to save myself the trouble?
*
You're still safe, comrade. 30% is the minimum threshold.

So one Grab driver complained in one of those Grab FB pages and said he met with an accident while driving and he called the CS, to which the CS told him to lodge a police report but don't mention he was driving for Grab during the incident.

That fellow continued to rant of how "useless" the CS was, and as you'd expect, more brainless zombies jumped on the wagon and spewed more brainless comments such as Grab should pay for the repair and whatnots.

I don't mean to give my backing that much to Grab but there is just too many brainless complaints going around in those FB groups. I told them that Grab isn't an insurance company and had that fellow work with an employer and he is involved in an accident, that company too won't pay for his vehicle's repair cost. But as expected, my comment flew above their heads.

So I did what I had to do to keep my sanity, I have left all those groups once and for all. I won't let my brain cells die like theirs πŸ˜‚

How about CR aka cancel rate? 13%ok kah?
*
CR is a bit tricky because somehow Grab also counts riders' cancellation against us. To be on the safe side, make sure your CR is below 10%. The lower, the better.

I've met one bizzare case for CR. One driver got an SMS stating that his Grab driver account was suspended due to high CR. He showed to us his CR was 4.8%, DR 4.9+ and AR ~90%. He complained that he received multiple back-to-back cancellations from riders during peak hour due to bad traffic. I felt really bad for him because he was condemned for something he didn't have any control on. It was ruthless and cruel from Grab's side.

That being said, I've maintained my CR between 11%-15% since January and so far no action has been taken against me. If I did this last year, three strikes and I'm surely out.

Like this how can oh?
*
Riders these days are smart too.

They don't want actions to be taken against them, they can always choose "Driver asked to cancel" from the menu.

1 driver leaves, 10 more will jump onboard.

Riders are kings and Grab always win πŸ˜‚
