QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Sep 22 2018, 04:27 AM) Hi all, I had a bad experience with a grab driver who drove wrecklessly. I want to give him 2 stars or even 1 star and put comment so that Grab can review this driver. But will the driver know which passenger gave 1 star and the comment? Sometimes, when we are stuck in jam, we become impatient, and start to speed when the road is clear. So, as cktang says above, give a chance lah... Maybe 4 star + comment. 4 star is considered bad in Grab. We need 4.70 rating to be entitled to incentives. |

QUOTE(moki @ Sep 23 2018, 09:06 PM) hello guys. im sorry to interupt any discussions u guys having if any, and there are 800 pages of discussions to read No harm trying since you are jobless. But at the same time keep looking for alternative jobs. Not sure if renting a car is a good idea. I personally bought a new car for Grab too. Before that I had an old car which was more than 10 years old, and the maintenance expenses were on the high side. So I saved on maintenance with a new one. |

QUOTE(bcombat @ Sep 24 2018, 04:02 PM) Uber and Grab fined, but Uber is not coming back...When it does return, Uber would be banking on autonomous cars. |

Yes, this feature will apply to all versions of the Grab Driver app. However, there are limitations if your app version is not the latest version. Therefore, please download the latest app version. For iOS app version 1.33.0 and below – you will not be able to see the timeout period. QUOTE(forever1979 @ Sep 25 2018, 12:46 PM) i think drivers should allow to cancel genuinely. As drivers, sometimes we are lucky, sometimes we are not. This is something we have to accept.if 2.5 hours for < RM50, who want to do ? however, fake booking is definitely a serious offence and crapcar is now working on it by have this fairplay xxx.. But crap can help the drivers by introducing dynamic pricing, with congestion rates like Uber. |

QUOTE(chrnosx @ Sep 25 2018, 03:51 PM) Why? As a driver should be happy they taking a stand! Keyboard warrior protest yo! Ban all you want man. In my previous post, I stated Riders are a constant. What moves the business is the drivers. Doesnt mean today Grab gone, suddenly everyone gets a car, go use MRT or get a bicycle. They still need the transportation. Whats scary for them is the driver jump ship. Imagine if 60% of the drivers went to another app. can you imagine the domino effect? Don't be kidding. Money will determine which app is online on your phone.Last time when Uber was in the market, you guys complained about crap, but still chose to become crap ambassador. Now you curse crap. But unless you make more money from another service, you will stick to crap |

QUOTE(bcombat @ Sep 25 2018, 10:50 PM) they already standing and waiting in the mall. If Cyberjaya pings are slow, they should just take a long distance job to go to location with higher demand.cyber pings are a lot lesser and no b2b. so they can have "group gathering" at the mall while waiting ping to come. Of course they may have to return to Cyberjaya in empty cars. But if they earn enough, that can cover the return trip. |

QUOTE(chrnosx @ Sep 26 2018, 08:48 AM) Already said, during that day, going to OKR from cyberjaya will take 2 hrs - 2 hrs 30 mins. Again, will you do? Where did you get the ETA of 2 hours plus? When you complain on forum, Grab admin just come here and laugh at all we SHs. But what these drivers doing is a silent protest. Enough of this groups around will force a change and company to listen. All these whistle blower bull shit is an ang mo strategy to combat internal sabotage. Most company I worked before all got this. Normally no one bother to whistle blow because we want the company to change, not the company change one person. Ban hammer wont affect these drivers. They are mostly old birds. Ban then go sit for one hour re-educate, or get a friend to lift ban. Then do again. They wont die one. Most of the time they are there because they just did a private air port and finding their way home. As someone noted, from Cyberjaya take MEX, exit Bukit Jalil. Anyway, I am not specific to that case, at that time. Cyberjaya has slow pings any day, right? They should just get a job to Puchong or Serdang, rather than waiting for 'perfect' jobs inside Cyberjaya. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Sep 26 2018, 11:16 AM) If u look at the matching algorithm which nearest driver can get repeating order over and over again, i see also feel it is retarded, they put nearest and the job sure ding-dong to that group of people, why didn't give driver who are further within 2-3km radius? Last time Uber had different algorithm. The bad thing was pickup distance sometimes could be far. The good thing was you could get jobs even in ulu place. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Sep 26 2018, 02:11 PM) I still admire Uber system, and after half year the crappy still copy paste half bake function from Uber. Ytd i on the heatmap, inside the heatmap show in surge area, go to rider app and look at the price, the fare is just normal at RM1.1 per km. Cancellation penalty on riders is welcomed, but should not be overdone lah...And where is the promise cancellation penalty on rider? Last time, if rider texted me and said, "I am coming", I will wait a little bit longer. Or, if the was miscommunication of pickup point, I would call the rider to clarify. But many drivers were happy to cancel immediately, and earn the RM3.75 compensation. Total penalty was RM5, with Uber earning 25%. The cancellation penalty was higher than minimum fare. Put yourself in the shoes of the riders: let's say you book a trip. As you are about to leave home, you realize: "aiya, I forget to bring my phone". So you go back to take your phone. But the time you are at the pick up point, the driver has already press the cancel button. Since crap's minimum fare is RM5, cancellation penalty should not be more than that amount. Picked up some PRC today. They wanted to go to Jalan Alor, but wrongly set the drop-off point as Jalan Petaling. Fortunately they informed me of their destination when they entered my car.
Since Jalan Alor was actually nearer, I had no complaint. Last time another PRC lady wanted to go to Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan, but wrongly set the destination as KL Sentral. That time was a heated argument Don't know why PRC called us 'sifu' |

QUOTE(chrnosx @ Sep 26 2018, 10:46 PM) Today KV is so shit. Jam until mother don't reckonise. RM 25 job took 20 minute pick up and 1 hour to complete. MP gone. Came 8 pm mad long came in. Cancel one next straight come. BUT takes 30 minutes to pick up someone 6km away. Told customer, said she will wait, then I answer, sorry I won't. Haha. I think today I cancelled 14 jobs. Whole week only done 10 lol. My PRC riders (see post above) waited for me 30 minutes.Got one job I took, coz I thought 8-9 was MP or at least P. Drove 1.5km for 10 minutes customer cancel. Tulan like fk. 8-9 was B in KV lol... The analyst for grab needs to resign or sacked man. Why I didn't cancel? Because my then rider went to their pickup location. I had no complaints lor... But the PRC were probably cursing me already... |
