Good luck trying to do incentives on those days unless you're willing to drive 20hrs to recover AR

Yeah i also just collect big fares today didn't really care much about doing incentives did a couple but i don't think it was even passed 50 bucks or maybe alot less whatever. Only did 250 fares for 5-6 hours before headed home. Maybe will drive for a bit tomorrow see what happens though.

Grabs trying to balance out the fares bc soon there won't be any incentives just like sg. Uber is still fighting but the market obviously belongs to grab. Let's just hope of the rumors of Lyft coming down is real else the future belongs to grab whether ppl like it or not.

Today do high fare with Uber not bad. Evening time got Boost up to 2.4x. I purposely drive to Boost area to get ping. 13km job, take about 30 minutes to pick up and drop-off, get RM34 after deduct commission. After that sapu Surge.

Today's main mission was to go eat papaya. Damn expensive papaya. RM110 per biji. Before eat papaya, drive a bit, after eat papaya, go eat a real meal, then drive a bit more then go home.

6 trips, net about RM100 after deduct commission. Too bad my last trip Uber wrongly calculate the distance as less than 1km. Hopefully they will rectify it.

Today's eat papaya adventure, mileage 135km. After plus petrol RM22 and minus what I earned from Uber, only spent RM142 to eat 2 big papayas.

No. I just want better protection for my engine since I'm doing U/G. In fact, last time Proton said need to change oil every 5000km if use semi-synthetic. Now they said they've run their tests and it's okay to use the semi-synthetic oil until 10000km. But I still think better go with the fully synthetic oil. Pay a bit more is better than car breaking down, especially if got passenger.

Engine oil grade need to check the receipt. I want to tido already. Later la. Good night morning.

In any vehicle it’s best don’t behave differently from the vehicle being owned. That’s why new cars are highly recommended to perform ‘break-in’ for the 1st year.

I was thinking about 5w 30 coz it jerks while gear changing & acceleration. By the way, don’t take 10k mileage as guide coz it’s inaccurate. Always feel the engine behavior....usually it’s lacky while driving. I discovered it while using semi & workshop recommends 7k as guide. Most semi’s are 5k recommended coz of the mixture molecularly.

There r a lot of old time practice in malaysia despite improvement in modern day tech. Simply because it is all about money.

I usually extend my service mileage by at least 20-30%.

the oil filter can stand for 10k km only, so within that limit still ok.

If u fee sluggish, probably is time for oil change.

But then for driver doing this for full time, it is better to use full synthetic.

My Xiaomi phone has GPS issue when Grab app is running. Guess I need to get a new phone

just did my first 4 trips with grab. my opinion below.


2. short trips are not profitable unless you are gunning for incentive

4 trips and u start the complaint.

some of the drivers here 2k plus trips and still going strong. you have to adapt and strategized accordingly and in real time even if you are just a part timer.

incentive game is good if your area got alot of shor trips but some are not lucky so they get medium to long trips or like me, i prefer the 8pm till 5am drive time.

the worst i get is rm5 for 2hrs . haha. lepak the mines/south city area. no ping. 9pm-10.30pm. then i realize ppl belom gaji lagi hujung bulan. call my wife dont let kids sleep. go back play with them.hehe. well it is like a business sometime ok sometime not. part timer.

i still remember my st time driving grab. it was a saturday night. i just start the car turn on the app and drive. it was 10pm. by 5am i mabuk with money already...
