Hi sifuss, newbie here. Plan to grab for full time for about 4 months to earn travel money since I just graduate. Any advice?
I've read the first page of this thread and since there's 700++ pages impossible for me to read every single page of them, appreciate if any kind soul willing to share some tips.

For those who came klang I got few food spot recommend , non-halal

1. Fatty Mee Hoon Kuih House - Berkeley area, long wait , expect 30min, cheap , can tapau self cook at home. ( request buy just ingredient )
2.  Ah Li Fried Mee Hoon Kuih - nice food , not very very good but nice , spicy , no coffee , got other fried rice , yee mee hot pot , curry etc.

5. 328 chicken rice , not very famous or very special but heavy taste food thus youngster like. Got coffe tea .
6. Pandamaran hawker street - self discover lols too many but some famous some not , but mostly normal food.

if you doing grab and cant net more then RM15/hr after deduct all expenses you should quit and go do other things. This is the bare minimum for KV ppl btw.

Today got a rider who was surprised to get a ping. He said because of the jam and most of all, drivers  might have to pass the toll, driver refused to pick up in the area.  He received a call from the driver who called to inquire since he needed to pay the toll to get him , would he reimburse him Rm2.10 for picking him up with Rm5 fare.

The rider asked him is it fair for him to pay the grab driver since he was not in his car yet? Why should he pay?

I asked him before dropping at his double storey house, if he is the Grab driver would he pick someone up by picking up the toll charges for a RM5 or Rm15 fare?

drivers like you spoil market.. is the reason why grab won't bother to improve their job allocation method to prevent this kind of situation.

I always give free trips to oku especially around brickfields area and they really appreciate it. Back in the Uber days, they will even reverse the credit card charge when I ask for a fare review...but grab don't give a damn and I even lose the commission to them. Anyway didn't matter so long as it's a good deed
