Ignored 4 big fare and CR 18%.
Feels like Grab is gaming me because I always get incentives more than 20% of fares. Sooo many wanna go to KL and Damansara during peak hour. In the end accepted a job to Bangi. Drive back empty car but not too bad la, fuel consumption was good because smooth highway all the way. But on the way back to civilization, Waze tell me to take Kajang SILK highway pulak. So many uphill parts and passed through 3 tolls. -.-ll But Indon rider was really nice. He gave me few ringgit tips so can almost cover the toll. He told me he go to Bangi to pick up his salary from a previous employer. Fook, roundway trip RM100.. but he still give tips.
Still needed to complete a few more trips to get AR 80% so ended up in KL. My Destination really saved the day here. Got a trip that took me almost all the way home. Then got a miracle trip when I was about 4km from home. Pick up less than 1km, drop-off about 2km, which brought me about 2km from home.
6.5 hours, get about RM167 after commissions. About RM1.1/km after deduct commissions. Petrol about RM24. Incentives 40% plus compared to fares. Not bad I guess? If I got stuck in KL or on the way to Damansara, I don't think can get this much. But CR 18%... If the next few days Grab keep bombing me with high fare.. Then no choice but to brave the KL jam...
Maybe I spoke too soon about app v5.39. No indication at all of Surge in the job card. I checked back the jobs that I cancelled, based on the distance and the fare stated on the job card, I think probably got Surge. But I wasn't notified at all.
Would be great if Grab showed the Surge percentage like Uber. Easier to make decisions about long distance trips. Grab staff... R u reading this?
