I'm surprised actually that Niantic didn't immediately drop another Tier 5.

My nearby raid look so empty this morning.... hopefully there's a magikarp or something else pass wasted.

I didn't bother with the ex raid gyms. They're too out of the way for me. Still salty... still boycotting paying real $$ to Niantic but its reach the point that I don't give a damn anymore.

Speaking of which.. yesterday I was late to my groups gym takedown and saw a damn funny sight.

3 fellas from my group was battling the heavily berried gym and at the entrance of the lorong.. out of sight by my group mates.... there's like a crowd of fellas holding their phones preparing to snipe. Damn geebai wan these fellas.

Pots and revives not really an issue since can use redundant or throwaway mons to battle. Just take down the first Blissey and then can prestige away.

Make sure you give them some time to berry

Now very simple... just catch weather boosted lvl 35 mons and save craploads of resources.

Example (not including evolution candy cost)

From egg hatch or raids max lvl 20 power up to lvl 30 cost -->75K dust + 66 candies
Or if you wanna max it out to lvl 40 from lvl 20 will cost --> 225K dust + 228 candies.

But when catch lvl 35 weather boosted mons, it just cost 88K dust +118 candies.

Even unpowered and meh IVs... lvl 35 mons are still more than decent enough for both raids and gyms.

Gym prestige to get gold gym medal.. supposed higher chances of getting EX pass but imo, its just another one of niantic's tahi lembu jantan.

That's brutal dude... I feel ya... gym right in front of house and not getting the pass.

Yup... and fighting types is the most important type in the gym meta currently.

I also didn't get a single EX pass.

Nope.

For the lack of a better word... that theory is just pure BS.

And no... I've not been banned before, neither have I installed any 3rd party app yada yada.

My own observation is that higher level player are less likely to get EX. Even if they all raid the same gym at the same time.

My side is worse.

It's not just which team but which players.

While it don't apply for casuals but familiar trainers (and their 2nd 3rd 4th ....10th accounts) violating the "rule" gets hunted down.

Every gym they put their mons are immediately attacked and left empty.

It's just nasty.

Now if I miss the usual time slot = gg no coins unless I go play far far away.

Weather now is the most important factor.

Even on what pops out of raids.

ps: Finally got my Gardevoir just now.

Naw...alot of younger players played for thr hype and left when its over.

Anyway, the "rule" is not necessarily bad if we think about it. It save everyone's resources.

Anyone can still attack and folks also have the right to defend. I guess its how the "rule" is communicated.
