It will depends on your area of interest:

a) Raid
b) Gym battles
c) Shiny hunter
d) Perfectionist (only keep 100%)
e) Casual players who don't really mind if all the above are not fully fulfilled

For a start, build a party of Machamp for (b) which will earns you coins to buy pass for (a) 
If dust is a concern then look for high level Machop to evolve which will save your dust.

I think is opposite? u need blissey to put in gym to earn coins..
gym battle don't earn coins.

Well, at times you will need to take down the gym before can slot hence Machamp 

Else no point having Blissey if you have no chance to slot in.
