Nope. Raided 6 gyms. Got 5 weather boosted zapdos but NO SHINY!!!

The only shiny legendary I have is kyogre and lugia. All others tak nampak bayang pun!

Yup, got mine during my first group raid for the day CP2296

Followed my bro's friends on carpool raid for that 3 hours event, total did 25 raids

Caught total 8 shiny (6 main 2 sub), highest 1898 (sub) lowest 1827 (main).

For normal, highest 1898 (sub) lowest 1832 (sub).

Nola... I tried lone ranger walking from stops to stops during Articuno day but too much time wasted in traveling alone. Plus few stops no more raiders by the time I reach there

Frankly speaking the whole trading feature is just to bela alt accounts.

i know right. the iv and cp mostly likely will be drop when you trade. even if you got lucky pokemon, the iv and cp will be lower and not worth to power up. wheres the logic?

yeap. trading just good to register new pokemon in the pokedex and to get regional pokemon.

low IV = useless?
not really.

you need 75k stardust to power up an IV100 mewtwo from level 20 to 30, getting its CP to 3413
but you only need 72.5k stardust (if 50% discount is true) to power up a LUCKY IV33 mewtwo (5-5-5, lowest IV you can get from trade with best friend) from lvl 20 to 35.5, its CP will be 3429

I'm sure someone who don't really obsess about IV will power up some lucky pokemon

I don't have to obsess about IV. Starting from the appraisal, if strong I throw and amazing I keep. But I am running out of storage space so need to cull the herd very strictly although I haven't maxed out storage. Next criteria is attack wow. No wow attack marked as can be thrown. So if still have more than 6 after the above, then I will go check out the IV to further cull the herd, so to speak.

The only pokes not fulfilling the amazing and wow and still be kept will be the traded regionals. Other than that I don't see any reason to power up a non regional lucky pokemon. As it is I hardly power up any mon. Been getting by all these while without maxing out any until recently. Currently I only have 2 maxed out machamps. That's it.

Not really. Let's say a lucky 5-5-5 Mewtwo vs Blissey.

At level 30, its focus blast does same damage as a 15attk does at level 28. Fine... cheap on dust.

Then what if P2P drops/ level cap raised or you finally realized that lvl30 mons are just too weak/waste of potions and decided to max it up to lvl 40.

At level 40, your Focus Blast only do the same amount of damage as level 36 15attk Mewtwo.

That Mewtwo which you've invested all those dust albeit discounted will never be the very best.

Then again, low IV has its used... to transfer to low level alt accounts but not for powering up.
