QUOTE(hanazismadi @ Dec 15 2017, 08:34 PM) Anybody can give answer on SV validity.... There are SV valid for 30 days, 90 days & 1 year. Who determine this? So far for me if revalidate SV i get 1yr validity...others on luck. Sometime i tell CS to giv like long validity...sometime can sometime not.. I had one SV with 90-day validity. One month after getting the SV, I purchased an item (top up a bit after applying SV) and subsequently returned the faulty item, LZD did not automatically return me my SV. I emailed them and they gave me a new SV with, IIRC 14 days validity from the day the new SV was emailed to me. The CSO even suggested I used the SV within 14 days - problem solved. Had to ding dong a bit before they relented and changed it to 90 days.

Looking to buy a Samsung Note 8. Saw a few reviews, some are quite scary (warranty registered one month ago, boxes unsealed). Any good seller to recommend?

QUOTE(WinterDays @ Dec 16 2017, 11:01 PM) recommend Tesco, their samsung phone is genuine SME sealed set. bought my s8 from there, after receive then register e-warranty, start by the date of purchase. I saw a reviewer mentioning he registered his warranty himself. Is that you?

QUOTE(WinterDays @ Dec 16 2017, 11:04 PM) no.. i bought s8 not note 8 u need to register warranty by yourself if u want sealed set That is why I find it baffling why so many sellers unsealed the box in the name of warranty registering. I suspect they get some benefits by doing the registering themselves. QUOTE(theng168 @ Dec 16 2017, 11:07 PM) we able to register it ourself now? I thought need retailer account. Which I find ridiculous, if true. Haven't had a new Samsung phone for years. Can't we register it ourselves just like all other products we buy?

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Dec 19 2017, 03:33 PM) I feel for you, bro. I did some asking here, apparently only Tesco sets are more reliable ( sealed), but at RM37++ and delivery is nx week. Hence, i bought one for the wife at Samsung shop at RRP. After reading your story, at least I dont feel that heart pain now paying full price for it, for the peace of mind.
