TR always have good partnership with CIMB.

Back in 2014 15 I remember off 10% of total bill AND 10 MYR off for next dining minimum 30 MYR.

So nice... Now no more...recently 12% also max cap at 30 MYR.

If 1 fam dining, gone 1 month cap.

With 12% CB and this:

Don't use after SST charged, call CS to request for sst rebate

so sad no more 12% for weekend dining. so used to eat good on weekend.

for me, i consider setel as ewallet.
credit card mostly need you to swipe on pump or counter consider as petrol expenses.
(above is my self interpret, u need CIMB CS for the actual cashback criteria qualification.)

petrol transaction (type) based on MCC

reloading to Setel wallet is already categorized with Petrol MCC -- this MCC is highly-questionable because there is no actual fuel pump taken place, but reload into stored value wallet.

however, on the other way, the Setel app can be used at the kiosk to pump petrol, so this is like a replacement of normal card payment (at the kiosk).
things will get further complicated when Setel app is used to buy stuffs from petronas mesra shop   

there is clear MCC segregation between petrol kiosk vs service station.

If top up ShopeePay wallet, 10x, if use e card payment in Shopee, 12x. 0n 10.10

No, applicable for Tng, GrabPay, Boost, BigPay (10x) and Setel (12x) only.

Yes, 12x on 10th Dec. Btw Setel is part of featured partner until end of this year only. Not sure for the upcoming months.

What is the cashback in term of %?

My bonus point was forfeited for the month of Dec because I made the payment late by 1 day for the Nov bill.

While I don't deny that it was my mistake on my part, however I wasn't aware that bonus points would be forfeited when the payment is late.

Called the customer service and the CS told me it's CIMB T&C.

Requested for late and finance charges waiver, and also requested to claim back the points that was forfeited.

Anyone has same experience regards to this with CIMB CC?

From my experience, Maybank and Citibank do not charge customer for payment late by 1 or 2 days.
