I saw 1st Page 0.2% CB Listing was missing.

is that mean Bill payment to JomPay using CIMB CRP CC get 0.2% CB no longer available ?

Not sure you all aware about CIMB CRCC's Cash Rebate Round Down or not.

From 29NOV18 till 28DEC18 i only use the card to pump one time petrol which cost RM61.47 (the only transaction that i had made on that card on that statement period)

When the statement came , i only earn RM1 Cash Back (By right should be RM1.23)

After contact CS, they mention that effective 3rd December 2018, cash rebate will be rounded down to the nearest ringgit.

Which mean if you earn RM1.23 CB , you will only get RM1 CB. (they round it down to nearest ringgit)

Did you guys facing this issue ? I try to search first page on this forum , nothing mention about it.
Also been to CIMB website --> Credit Card products --> CIMB CRCC , also never mention this.

Their Original Email Reply as below :

Dear Mr XXX

Thank you for your message.

Kindly be informed that effective 3rd December 2018, cash rebate will be rounded down to the nearest ringgit.

The amount will be rounded down from all categories and subsequently added up to form the total cash rebate.

Please refer to table enclosed for example.

time to cut off. =_=

I keep this card in da drawer until my other card quota out only use it. Quite long never use it, now only know the new T&C.

I also just cancelled today due to SST charging soon.
12% Dining is good but not a permanent benefit

2nd. cash back will be given but to the nearest ringgit.

Previously this card was a good card until they revise and revise the t&c.

By the way, did the CS told you , after cancelled , have to wait for last bill then can request to transfer the balance (if any) back to Saving account ?


CS offer me Cash Lite with RM50 Cash Back if accept the offer. I reject it coz din need it.

CIMB credit card will be charging Cross Border Fee if the payment gateway is not under Malaysia.

Last time 0.8% , now is 1%.

Be careful especially when you perform online purchase / transaction.

As i recall , Agoda will kena charge.
The rest i not sure. Have to check Cross Border Fee threats in low yat forum.
