QUOTE(AhWei68 @ Jun 9 2023, 12:34 PM) Hi guys, planning to apply for CIMB cc. Wonder if RP provides sign-up offers from time to time for CIMB cc. Else I shall not wait for any sign-up offers. Based on current and past experience of surfing ringgitplus (RP), rarely see any new customer offer for cimb cc with RP. You might want to either look for other offers outside of RP.. |

QUOTE(Tellmeyourstory @ Jul 14 2023, 04:10 PM) just receive the TWE card. Overlooked on the first year annual fee only applicable to New to Bank customer. You need to calculate how much the potential miles you can earn is worth to you.Now hesitating whether to activate or not for the annual fee of RM 1,215 Any idea on the breakeven measure? Note starting xx august, reload to ewallet no bonus points. Forgot exact date, some time next month Tellmeyourstory liked this post

QUOTE(jerantut2011 @ Aug 18 2023, 11:00 PM) CIMB World Travel Elite is advertised as having zero fee on foreign currency use. It applies to ALL cimb card. Not unique to this card. For foreign websites, either pay in foreign currency or choose another card to pay. However, it charges 1% on Ringgit-denominated transactions by the Hotels.com. This is disappointing. But Touch N Go Visa card also charges 1% at the same merchant. If i'm not mistaken, many years ago when i had stan chart, they also charge the 1% but i could be mixing it up with another bank. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 20 2023, 07:19 AM) fyi, statement-ed @ 19 Aug (first statement) 1) statement balance >RM4k, all spending, no ewallets/bt/etc 2) no cashback recorded 3) will continue to monitor how/when cimb credit the cb  p/s: I've also changed my statement date to 5th earlier. wonder if the system recorded it to credit cb on the 5th instead The same could have happened to your card (albeit it is cashback) even though it's a different card. Same system after all. This post has been edited by adele123: Aug 20 2023, 10:23 PM cybpsych liked this post

QUOTE(lifenoregret @ Oct 13 2023, 09:22 PM) I still have my SCB journey card and is TWE still attracting? Conversion wise, TWE is better.Just got my travel world, currently hesitate which should be the primary card to collect point Alternatively there is Maybank 2 premier, which is better than SCB also. |

QUOTE(wooikuan @ Feb 26 2024, 08:16 PM) Has anyone tried out the new offer for "free" hotel stay by TWE? Any pressure for the on-site 90 minute presentation? Twe don't need to attend. Just spend 10k only. ![]() Unless you want 4 nights stay then you attend the presentation. This post has been edited by adele123: Feb 27 2024, 05:18 PM |

QUOTE(zacchie:) @ May 20 2024, 11:51 PM) https://www.cimb.com.my/en/personal/day-to-...redit-card.html TWE and TW probably has slight differing requirement. Just go through T&C carefully on your own. Looks like need to spend only RM5k? Anyone claimed d? Yes. I claimed the hotel and came back. Was in wyndham grand phuket. Hotel was fancy enough with private pool but does not have its own beach. Boring but solid stay. |
