i start to regret using cimb visa, the ppl is merely 2 times n seem no cashback. i really have no idea what is this for, i think i take the wrong card. besides this, i did a balance transfer to aeon, and for almost 3 weeks aeon yet to receive the fund, i call/write n complain to cimb cs every 2-3 days but reply is same under investigation. n the funny part is my bt is due today n i proceed to pay. it seem i am the one that bt to cimb lol. this bank shd just close ahop.

yes it shd be worded the other way round, i transfer the outstanding balance from aeon to cimb. hence cimb help to settle the outstanding by transferring fund into aeon, however aeon yet to receive the fund after 3 weeks, and cimb also cant trace where their fund goes to.

precisely, not only i have to pay aeon outstanding, i might need to settle bt that is due. i think most bank work rigid way, hence i am in no mood to argue with them, i hope they can solve the issue asap, and i will settle the bt asap, then i can tell cimb bye bye.

i decide to replace my cimb vs with cashback card after i read somewhere (cant recalled where) this cb card is good for overseas spending, after received the card then only i realised the term already change and the overseas spending is removed. very funny la all this changes from time to time.

yes quite nice, yesterday i hv dinner in tonyromas, buy i free 1, add one drink rm12, total bill rm37, and 12% cb somemore.

cimb rarely hv free gift. i oso wonder y.

mine is 3 swipes for new card, regardless amt. not sure after 1 year.

i did after 3 swipes, cs acknowledged. i think no need call, because its a official campaign. just that i hv the habit to get cs confirmation n seek understanding, in fact i called all banks pertaining to sst/af even i know some never waive.

my experience could be anecdotal, its much better to walk in for banks like hlb, pbb, mbb n cimb. online seem work well for ctb n scb.

after i got this card, every weekend i makan at store that allow credit card payment, not sure is save or waste.

i received call of the increase cl n i told the caller i dont want any changes, the caller said this is pre approved n keep pushing me to do verification, i concede n answer all questions asked, she said i can check my increase within one week. now is over one month. i think some bank mgt work very hard to create more task for their staff, productive or no is another story.

i read ctb thread n was told no doc needed for cl increase, just respond to the sms (or email?) will do, i play play n try, ctb increase my cl 3x, i now telling myself no more play play with banks sms or email.

yalor, i kept this card inside drawer on 1st july, literally. dun waste time figure out cimb cb, spend a little more time to get a few more cards, in yr case, mbb fcb would get u rm50 for car fixing, jop with ewallet might get a cash return of rm60 on petrol, the rest u can use other cc from either pbb or scb. i used to paid everything using one hsbc bec of ignorance or rather dun care, but realise this might not be a good attitude.

my cimb sst due may, after some thought, i never request for cancellation since i intent to hv some good food after mco ie june. hope something new come up.
