Something weird happened to my application(s).
1st time- CIMB called to offer me CIMB CB Platinum and says that I dont need to submit any documents because I have my saving account & payroll with them. My only loan was an education loan. A few days later I call CS to check on the status, they said it is been automatically decline by the system due to incomplete documentation, and ask me to apply through branch or CIMB Clicks instead.
2nd time- I apply through CIMB Click, after submitting details, then I proceed to uploading the supporting documents. After submission, when I check on the status, it shows rejected.
Do any sifus have any idea on this? Called CS several times but giving me different answers.

Hi all,
Just got my CB Platinum card last month.
The first statement that I received doesn't include the CB from the card. Then a few days later I received the cashback. Would like to double confirm if I pay the Statement balance OR Statement Balance - CB received before due date?

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Dec 23 2019, 09:34 AM) Always pay statement balance. Well noted with thanks. All my other cards (MBB, PBB) include CB on the statement date except this one. Hence the confusion occurs

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 23 2019, 02:21 PM) make a habit (imo) to pay statement balance. easy to remember and track. treat the cashback as "delayed gratification" lor. it wont run away Great. Will stick to pay statement balance from now on. Easier and no need to confuse myself

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jan 3 2020, 10:50 AM) PB - statement date CIMB - A few days after statement date. Maybank - every 1st of the following month. StanChart - Within 60 days from month-end. HLB Wise - 28th of the following month. UOB Yolo - by end of the following month. So CIMB is already very good to give you the rebate so early! This is really helpful to the new card holders. I always thought the rebates are given at the same time,

QUOTE(aska01 @ Jun 5 2020, 02:36 PM) Did you guys receive any call from CIMB saying that you are entitled Tealive, iHerbs and etc by requesting your personal data (last 4 digits of IC) for confirmation? What is that actually? I received the similar call yesterday. The guy highlighted the extension of the 12% weekend dining promo for the card, & additional promo such as B1F1 which are all can be found on their website... He did ask for my last 4 digits of IC but I was not comfortable to give. He says it's ok, how about how many credit cards you have with CIMB instead. I think they are trying to encourage us the consumer to go eat more

Anniversary with the card, got charged SST. Called & ask for rebate, CS say no waiver/rebate, then I say proceed to cancel. After online verification, CS say can give SST rebate upon spending RM500 within 60 days, but I rejected the offer... No more weekend dining 12% really so sad
