After i did telephone verification on 26th, there has been no news. The Bank has not even done a CCRIS check yet.

Same thing for me. Even if I called to their CIMB call center, all they can do is to escalate but still no outcome.

You will get a call from the credit card banker after this "IT error". There's a reason behind to this and I truly understand that now (after my banker explained to me).

Same for me. Give them a call to check, it's likely your application got cancelled.
If you have a Preferred or Private status, ask your RM to follow up for you.

My Travel Elite has already appeared in my Cimbclicks (as of 11/11)

However, here are something to take note if you've been checking like I do
1. No CCRIS checks record
2. Application has been cancelled
3. For my case, no SMS or whatsoever notification

In the past to get 100% AF waiver for the CIMB Enrich World Elite card was spending of RM1M. Now that the Travel World Elite has reduced to RM250K is somewhat easily achievable by those who previously about to spend that amount of money.

The Travel World Elite physical card is still made of plastic / abs and is not metal. The cool thing about this card is it's dark bluish in a dark environment, and sea bluish in a bright environment.

I was charged SST + AF immediately. You will see that in the 1st day after the credit card statementt.

Can't speak on behalf but the catch is not only about applying for the card, but the sustainable spending to get the A.F. and to reap the benefits of it.

Well, yes it's a pity to be honest. But let's be more realistic about it on the perks offered e.g. Hotel offers already worth this value.

Further more, one only needs to spend ~RM48K to get the waiver which isn't a big amount too (Take 10X BP * RM48K / 400 BP) the rest out of the spending are real bonus to it...

(or maybe I am just consoling myself tongue.gif )
