Hi all

My laptop was working fine before, able to watch movie and gaming smoothly
However after the recent windows 10 update, suddenly i noticed there's significant lag when im playing game/watch movie
apparently my laptop no longer detects the gpu
FYI im using lenovo Y520, with nvidia 1050ti, however when i check the device manager, the gpu is not listed as per screenshot below:

i've tried to reinstall gpu driver, however it says no compatible hardware found (eventho i downloaded the correct driver)
i also have updated my bios, and even reformat my laptop but still it cant detect the gpu
anyone have any idea how to solve this?
thanks

under BIOS config, for display adapter, i've already selected discreet instead of UMA
but still the gpu is not shown

It's very possible that your separate nVidia GPU has died. Often happens for notebooks, even Illegear.
One reason why I game only on IGP.
No such disappointments so far for me.

Use the freeware GPU-Z to check if your GPU card is shown.
