The thing is a lot of the new ikan bilis in the market are also new in trading. Some are bound to be eaten alive. Weak hands, weak bladder. As well as lack of judgment and experience.

When EVERYONE including those auntie in the wet market talking about Bitcoin, the smart money is to get your profit locked in. Some would even argue that it's time to at least secure your capital back again.

But then again, the peeps are trading with the capital that they can afford to lose... Right? Right?

Actually i checked myself and there are 16 million BTC in circulation as of June 2017, not sure if these include the million or so inactive coins.

So i guess they were sort of right.

I mean "experts" who can dismiss Bitcoin and yet claim that "not even half are mined" - that should tell you how well-informed they are doh.gif

Actually the person who mentioned that 16 million were already mined was someone who was warning caution against going all-in to BTC.

If Bitcoin (@≈$15k) crashes the same proportion as the June 2011 high of $32 to the November 2011 low of $2, we are looking at a 94% decrease to approximately $900 USD/BTC.

Yeah. The same thread can have "experts" saying don't go into Bitcoin because 1) not even half are mined, and 2) 80% have already been mined.

My advice - don't go into Bitcoin if you don't know how it works. And don't depend on /k to find out how.
