Guys my inspira got ngek ngek sound when going through bump, tried pushing the car up and down and the sound came from the back. Absorber kong liao? Should i get KYB absorbers like most here? I'd like to improve ride comfort if im need to change my absorbers.

Dear sifus, after 6 years (maybe more I'm not sure) at 70000km I think it's time to change the absorbers as there's ngek ngek sound when going over speedbump, so the absorber lifespan maybe over ler. I went to proton sc to ask about this and they said my absorber actually still ok and there's no point changing as the sound will come back in no time, is this true? Actually come to think of it the sound was actually there since a long time ago.
Do you guys think I should change the absorbers? If so should I go for aftermarket or find back proton? I use this car for commute only and usually don't drive more than 100kmph,so I prefer comfort over performance for the ride.

QUOTE(BluePants @ Oct 8 2019, 10:45 PM) Use KYB japan. RM300+ each for front. Just very very slightly stiffer than original. Almost no difference to most people. I saw shopee selling 4x for RM500+, are those not from japan? Actually any difference between non-japan and japan kyb? Lifespan doesn't matter for me as I plan to sell the car in 3-5 years. Slight stiffer means ride will be less comfortable? Are there any absorber out there that can improve the ride comfort?? Also what else should I change other than the absorbers?? Sorry for so many questions, noob here

Recently went for 70k service at proton SC. Know nothing about cars so I just went with what the SA suggested and paid. Now felt abit curious about engine oil so I went to do some research. Apparently this car needs to use fully synthetic engine oil? Or is this just a hoax?
According to the receipt they gave me Synthium 800 10w30 4L and Synthium 10w40 1L. Should I be worried?

QUOTE(EBBattlefield @ Oct 15 2019, 10:54 PM) all cars recommended to use fully synth, like how all humans are recommended to eat chicken mcdeluxe instead of mcchicken at mekdi. you want to cheap out also can, but not so good for your engine. as for 4+1, it's because this car requires 4.5L EO, so service center sell you 4L+1L since engine oils are only available in either metric (4L and 1L packing) or imperial (4quartz and 1 quartz, i.e. .3.78 or 0.95 litre) no choice there. Honestly, how much potong charge you? RM180 for 4L fully synth should be ok considering it's original potong service center RM140 for the engine oil alone. What makes me wonder is why they gave me 10W30 4L, and 10W40 1L, is it ok to mix? Guess I'll be getting fully syn next time then..not much difference especially considering that full syn can last 10k mileage while semi only 5k. In the future should I get 10W30 or 10W40?

What EO do you guys use for your Inspira? How much and where do you buy them? Found 5w-30 Syntium 3000 seems real cheap (RM139 5L) in shopee/lazada but I wonder if it's fake or not.

Hi all, noticed this sound recently, not sure if it's normal. 1.8 auto. When accelerating from 0-10 I can hear a "klak" sound coming from below the car. Oddly this only happens when accelerating from a stop and doesnt happen at all when I drive normally.
