Hi guys,

1. What is the recommended engine oil for Scooter motor ?
2. Where to purchase original ones with cheaper price ?

As for now, I can think of Iphone Katana, Motul Power Scooter, Motul 7100.

What else ?

1. Follow as recommended in your scooter's user manual. 10w-30, 10w-40 MB, etc. Any brand that meets the specification will do.
2. Most bike spare parts stockist have it.

Yup... spoilt with so many brands... rclxub.gif

Just don't 'listen' to the mechanic at typical motorcycle shop... they just want to sell, not to follow manufacturer's spec.

For example, my PCX - just one type of engine oil 10W-30 MB. So many shop try to sell 10W-40 Synthetic - Reason given - synthetic is better. That's not a valid argument. EO spec takes precedent, then can think of mineral, semi or fully synthetic...

You don't need to have fully synth unless your manufacture stated that way in the user guide book..

Unless the bike meant for Racing... (Stressing the component inside 100% all the way)

Follow ur manual. Use full syn if you have extra money. I only use mineral for break in period (1k km) after that full syn all the way. I usually red line my 125cc bike max speed, hence fully syn.
