QUOTE(clement5949 @ Jan 10 2019, 05:52 PM) even tho, i am still waiting for my car to be delivered. I am used to flashing and rooting my android smartphones, but when comes to the car I wouldn't risk it. And it seems very complex. But if someone in KL is offering that service for a small fee then I would consider it. i had checked the link below for some function and android auto https://mazdatweaks.com/ did anyone tried it? then i saw taiwan group, they can install module to change the system to be android system. https://mazda3revolution.com/forums/2014-20...l-here-now.html |

QUOTE(ralfvi @ Sep 10 2019, 05:38 PM) You should, do as much research and homework, but all honestly it was easy. The difficult part was testing it to work reliably which now it is.QUOTE(ayamback @ Sep 10 2019, 09:43 PM) Yup, did it all on my own. This video really helped. https://youtu.be/wH40SsIh4wY |

QUOTE(neooren @ Sep 11 2019, 10:33 AM) The model year and more importantly which firmware currently running would determine how to go about installing the tweaks. Fortunately for me I just had to stick a USB with the tweaks I wanted and I was good to go, no dismantling needed. |

QUOTE(Calveez @ Sep 11 2019, 02:25 PM) Say worst case scenario, got it "Brick" what can we do? You better do some reading and research, don't simply do. MAZDA SC will charge you an arm and a leg to replace a bricked infotainment. I saw some of the post was saying there is no roll back or backup that we can fall back to. Was wondering can change the whole Mazda mzd to new android player? Hands are like so itchy... already downloaded the file but still holding on to it cos' having doubts. What's your current Mazda Infotainment Firmware version? |

QUOTE(Kagekiyo @ Sep 17 2019, 11:11 AM) Has anyone gotten a quote from their dealership as to how much it costs to install/retrofit android auto/apple carplay for the 2017/2018 gen 3 Mazda 3 model? Any feedback from anyone using it with their iPhone or Android phone? I think you can go back to Mazda SC and ask for a downgrade to the previous firmware.I'm aware of the self-hack Mazda AIO tweaks however it seems that the current firmware that my unit has which is above v59.00.502 that requires a serial connection mod that will likely void my warranty. Being so, the only feasible option i am left is is to get a quote from the dealership. |

QUOTE(Calveez @ Sep 17 2019, 04:05 PM) Hi, san_098 no FW 51 will not work. you can definitely ask for the update. Just don't go above v59.00.502I am running on OS 51.000.350 Not sure if the MZD-AIO-TI v2.8.4 version supports FW51? It say version FW55 onwards. May i know what FW was you on when you did it? QUOTE(Kagekiyo @ Oct 3 2019, 07:40 PM) I just recently swapped my stock Mazda 3's 18 inch Toyo Proxes F1 Sport tyres for Michelin Primacy 4 215/45/18 tyres and the difference in terms of road harshness and loudness has been toned down is quite apparent. The ride is much smoother and quieter now. How much did you pay for the Michelin Primacy 4 215/45/18 tyres?Sidenote, I'm selling my used set of Toyo Proxes F1 Sport tyres that have 13,000KM mileage/6 months old for sale if anybody is interested - drop me a PM. |

Mazda owners in Malaysia can get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay retrofitted for a Fee
Even though I have a hacked version of Android Auto, it is with minor flaws. I think RM1,055 is totally worth having the official support. |

I have a MAZDA 3 2016 model, recently one of the headlights went out. I replaced both headlights with an OEM but with exactly the same specs. The AFS warning would start blinking started when I take turns. It will go away when I start the car and start blinking again when driving and taking turns.
Headlight compatibly issue or something worse? |

To the owners of Mazda 3 2016 High-Spec, how much are you paying for insurance this year?
