ppf if possible.

ppf cant be applied to a plastic part, only on the painting part to prevent road chipping. Coating depend on individual, some owner if detailing kinda person, each week they do wash their car, apply spray wax almost once every 2 weeks, then no need.

if u are like me, just send car wash if car is dirty, then coating is recommended. the dirt is less likely to stick to car body after applied coating. but there is not a problem free either on coating, some experienced water mark issues after sometime

I took Sensha Coating due to price and cover all area. Some brand give cheaper price but when arrived, some area is not covered example leather seat, plastic trim need to top up etc. From what I read, to prolong coating, need to wash the car like once a week.

because the front tint is 55% IRR rejection. Rest 97%.

Yes double tint is adviseable since already paid for the skytint. The tint is good (IRR97%) but only for side and rear. Front Windscreen IRR55% is not ok on our weather. so front cant double tint, need to change to better higher IRR%, rest can take double tint or not based on preference

Best workers workmanship applied. Try search shop with good installer for double tint. Done it on my other car, no issues. The installer is an old guys, 6 years ago at Seremban.

Purely safety. Tint hazy issue but depending on brand and installation skill. If ok jalan only.

it is not advisable to double tint the front windscreen, the rest is ok. usually shop owner/installer will advise to remove front windscreen b4 install new

But bermaz charge rm2k for it. Tint and normal carpet. Almost all need to top up for a better tint especially the front windscreen

What to do Bermaz easy money. Same goes to Mazda Deposit cleaner for their solutions to gdi carbon deposit?

i do coating first. then after 1 month proceed install ppf. what i done is put wax spray on top of ppf. also ok

the best is to send for repaint every 4-5 years. that the best economically to maintain the car. for yellowish ppf, can prolong it if your car always park covered. Coating maybe need to find shop which offer reapply coating foc until 2-3 years etc

Bermaz idea to come out with this premium names? And does it effect the car dashboard surface etc? As i know using sanitizer will make it bad on leather/dashboard

Ppf bro. U see m3 front bumper design, cx5 bumper design kinda got large surface which will make rock chipping end up there.

Or else just let it as it is and repaint back after 3-4 years

what ur budget? if good budget, get with IRR97%-99%. Really make a difference at noontime.

Im following CX5 group in fb. There are more cases of gb kong after 100k km mileage, some even on 110k km. That for me is an alarming issues as Bermaz can say its out of warranty since they only capped it until 100k km.

2nd, u can view many YouTube video about seal for life gb oil. Basically they are all recommended to change the atf after certain mileage interval, if u looking to prolong use it. Even gb specialist of Mercedes recommend to change atf oil on my dad w211 long time ago eventhough it is seal for life

This kinda of diy, i have done on my old viva back then. The rattling near the speedometer area, that black plastic. Put all these sound deadening stuff there but the rattling keep coming back.

Resolved it by replacing the plastic stuff new parts. Maybe plastic parts already reached permanent deformation due to heat daily.

my bro in law cx5, had this rattling sound behind the dashboard. 1st send SC and check, was told they put grease back to eliminate the rattling (written on paper). the next 3 days, sound comes out. so check with a more experienced technician, check around 1 hour, he orders the Steering coil spring. that takes 1 week for part order and need another appointment for installation etc.
