QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Jul 2 2023, 04:17 PM) Since there’s no dedicated CX-30 thread, I would like to tumpang here to ask the sifus. Is it worth to get these additional safety features for extra RM10K between H and H+? it's subjective, I booked H bcuz I never like those warning sounds blaring left and right, I would switch it off anyways[attachmentid=11471914] |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Sep 6 2023, 11:56 AM) unless you definitely need the aesthetics and the bigger engine capacity otherwise 1.5L is as preppy as the 2.0L in terms of city driving, it is only when you start cruising on the highway then you realize you have a smaller engine so at the end of the day, the 1.5L is also a good choice but depending on your driving needs. well it's more like the mindset of I'm paying the same price but I'm getting something cheaper the 1.5L is like driving a Myvi but the "premium" variant of the Myvi, a "very premium" one. alternatively, you can consider the Civic, that's a no brainer and wins the Mazda3 on every grounds (except for the looks). reasons I didnt choose Civic: - CVT - infamous as ah beng car and I always wanted Mazda Soul Red |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Sep 6 2023, 12:13 PM) ouh, yeah haha "that". the value proposition, can't argue on that but the Mazda3 has the looks that the CX-30 cannot replicate. nah, I'm not CVT haterto be honest, the CVT in the current CIVIC isn't as bad as what the media tries to paint it to be - all these so-called car journalists are complaining because they always floor the accelerator but the thing is, how many drivers does that ordinarily on their daily commute. i've owned the 12th-gen Altis (CVT) and taken delivery of the HRV 2 months ago and frankly, I couldn't differentiate the way both car shifts UNLESS of course when i floored them then the droning sound of the CVT comes up (but that's like 1 in 10 drives). so, buy the CIVIC and use the money saved to paint the car Soul Red haha. I'm driving CVT Saga, family having 2007 AT Altis and 2017 CVT Altis it's just I find I enjoy driving the AT more than CVT, just my preference on Mazda3 vs CX-30 looks, I love CX-30's tail light, very unique Jo@NJS liked this post

yeah CX-30 is small
I dislike SUV or crossover, but CX-30 looks more like a jacked up rally ver sedan, hence I'm ok with it |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Sep 8 2023, 11:40 AM) yes, the current manufactured one has "auto stop and go" function as part of the upgraded i-Activesense safety suite but not sure if it's activated in the High+ or just in the Ignite Edition only. Mazda called theirs "CTS" i believed. actually I just learned about the TJA after searching about it just nowaccording to USA CX-50 manual, TJA is a separate function from Stop & Go, but I can't see the big difference https://www.mazdausa.com/static/manuals/202...s/05283700.html ![]() |

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Sep 11 2023, 08:45 PM) 4 months now, sedan, no rattling sound at all. But tire already changed once due to pothole, that's the risk with low profile tire. which colour? and how obvious the paint damage?Aside from that, the paint is thin, advisable to have ppf installed. I didn't do that, damn regret now. |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Nov 16 2023, 12:34 PM) this is true for most owners who have replaced their tires with 19's and kept their stock 18's with the tire shop. this is news to me, tyre shops help u keep?I never changed rims before, dunno how it works was thinking to change my CX-30 rims, but SA warned me it will void warranty |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Nov 16 2023, 01:45 PM) IIRC, there used to be panel workshops in the Mazda3 group that helps owner to keep but not sure if they charge a fee or not. i never personally enquire on the same or perhaps they placed it there to help the owners offload them. Either way, this is why sometimes you'd see some owners make post offering to buy back stock rims and most of the time, they are for the purposes of submitting a claim for manufacturer's warranty. guess I'll stick to "if worry about warranty don't mod" thenThe SA is not wrong as he/she is merely repeating the company's policy in terms of keeping the manufacturer's warranty valid but some owners also shared that they still managed to raise a claim for manufacturer's warranty despite their stock rims have been replaced. In this sense, there is no clear line determining what modifications is permissible and at the end of the day, modders are at the mercy of the SC as to how the SC would write their report on the submission, whether they would make a full and frank disclosure or they will turn one eye blind. I'm not particular about the design, it's just the stock rims too narrow to fit PS5 tyres |

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Nov 17 2023, 08:56 AM) Never heard unless that shop belong to his family shop. Most of time they ask u to keep at home for their space issues. Suggest take that stock ori rim & tyres at home and use it for any warranty claim issues later in future. I would if I can, living in condo so no space |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Jan 21 2024, 03:24 PM) Will the liftgate spoil if it is manually operated? My familly member tend to close manually despite having the auto lock button available... my friend tried to pull open my CX-30 liftgate when it was opening halfway, and it jammed right in middle then when tried to close it again with button on liftgate, driver's button, remote button, it just kept beeping and will not budge in the end have to open a plastic cover inside the liftgate got 1 level, have to press the level to disengage the motor lock, then slowly push the liftgate close note, have to continuously press and hold that level only can close the liftgate, and since the level is inside, someone had to sit inside car keep holding the level while another person closes the liftgate after securely closed the liftgate with a click sound, only the auto liftgate works again |

QUOTE(Jedi @ Feb 1 2024, 09:19 PM) Mazda 3 is a much better car drivability wise. Be it hatch or sedan. I went for CX-30 bcuz I can't afford the extra 20k price of 3 Going cx30 is likely bec u dont want lose the interior atasness, yet you feel the 3 is overpriced compare spec to spec with 30 right? Cx30 rear is also straighter, means more backpain and discomfort for passengers at the back compare to the 3. The anti scratch bump is too large also. Yes it can be modded but its still an suv la I'm an anti-SUV person, but personally I still rather take CX-30 with the NA engine and 6AT over Civic and CX-30 is so sleek, it doesn't have that SUV/crossover look imo my mum tried sitting at the back seat of 3, she said CX-30 better This post has been edited by General_Nic: Feb 2 2024, 09:53 AM |

QUOTE(leongqweasdzxc @ Mar 13 2024, 11:54 PM) ah okay... it's not just the width, the diameter is differentthinking if i should just opt in for PS5 with different sizes as those can be cheaper... may i know why you insist to opt for the same tyre spec...? just for the sake of maintaining the original tyre sizes...? you didnt consider like this PS5 225/45/18 for RM698 per tyre...? just 10mm width difference from 215 and 225... https://shopee.com.my/Michelin-Pilot-Sport-...1191.2307547811 Attached thumbnail(s) |
