Hi guys, when the blinking i-stop indication comes out that to tell you that your battery can no longer support i-stop how long should we wait before changing the battery? I can do without i-stop but I don't want to wait until I can't start the car.

2 months is quite safe; 3 months, you're pushing your luck; 4 months is just damn lucky. Just get it changed la for peace of mind...

If you want an "adventure", refer mine where i pushed the battery to the limit to prepare yourself :

Battery dead yesterday. Not even 2 months! Tried using jumper also cannot start.. Called SC , they advise buy new battery and they teach how to reset iStop myself.

Battery bought from SC : Delkor Q85/115D23L for RM452 with 12months/25k km warranty.

Why need to buy new as any battery die within a year is cover by manufacturer under warranty. Premature failure could be due to manufacturing defects.

Jump start also not possible could be due to lead plates in battery shorted.

Used that battery for 16 months. Died after 2 months since iStop started blinking.

Wah....who is your SC, so good guide you reset istop. Can let me know who you contacted?

My place damn kedekut, reset istop error code also want to charge $$$. Battery price very reasonable.
