anyone changed gearbox oil at SC? i was told rm740.

or better do outside? any workshop can recomment?

did they tell you what other items are included in the RM740.00 - i assume there are parts to be replaced as well but get an itemized quotation from them.

some people in the Mazda3 group recommends Vcarbon Auto Repair Services, apparently they also do walnut blasting decarbonizer.

care to share a picture for us to determine how bad are the scratches?

if it's not too bad, you can pick up a touch up pen from Mikstore, it's not perfect but it's the closest paint color match that i can currently find on the market (mine's Polymetal Gray).

unless the scratch is very obvious and that you cannot ignore, i'd advise you to forget about it because if you have the entire door panel resprayed then high chances are you are going to see a bigger difference in color (with the resprayed panel looked darker) but if you NEED to do it then apparently a few recommends HONG Y AUTO PAINT.

You can verify the price with SC. That's the price i was told.

I was quoted RM500 by outside mechanic, forgot to ask if they use FZ fluid or other brand.
Decided to buy the kit myself and DIY. <RM300 for ori filter and 4L FZ fluid.

why would i want to verify the price with the SC?

i am merely asking you to get an itemized quotation to see if the RM740.00 is purely on the fluid change and nothing else since you were curious/unsure if the SC is over charging you.

it depends where the seller is based at and how strict their customs law is.

i bought a watch 2 years ago from Europe and they informed me in advance that they only do actual value declaration.

it's exceptionally risky nowadays to make false declaration especially if the seller is a registered company.

CX5 using different system than latest M3 and CX30

Yes you can find some mods for the older system here, but so far none for M3 and CX30

the "stop & go" function isn't really worth the upgrade to be honest because unless the car in front of you starts moving almost immediately after it comes to a complete stop, you'll need to either tap on the accelerator or press the "RES" button on the steering to get the car moving again.

it doesn't "go" automatically doh.gif
