Yeah, hope that still got other colour waiting to clear custom and more allocation coming soon. So far look like no polymetal gray high plus allocation, more on white and blue.

I believe there are new polymetal gray allocated and delivered. But mainly ignite version.

True..just now I was offered plymetal grey ignite.pg is my 2nd choice while platinum quartz is my first.now, im in such dilemma.should i take the offer or not?

If i choose to wait..there’s no guarantee when it will arrive. And the rate is likely to change since the opr already increased.I already checked with the banker.she said she tried her best but no guarantee.

I think platinum quartz is unique..I saw the color many times youtube and its messing with my head

Tomorrow need to confirm with my sa

I'd probably take it if I were you. Maybe because I've waited close to 6 months already. The car itself is great tbh, the colour options are secondary to me and there isn't any that I particularly dislike, more to own preference at the end of the day.

I sort of follow up with him every week already and he said there's still no news from HQ. Asked about the allocation from his branch, he told me they did get allocation but so far for other colours only. I booked LB H+ Machine Gray. Anyone gotten allocation for this yet?
*
did your SA ask to give 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice colour?

btw i think now they busy CBU-ing ignite edition ler... really unfair to those who book since last yr

Id rather be a silent reader and checked all the news and excitement in fb n lowyat than to make a decision like this

I just booked the car in april from berma pj.I can understand all your feeling..waiting for the car to arrive for 5 to 6 months esp those who ordered high plus version.

Good things happen to those who wait..now,need to calm my mind n have a good rest.hopefully, tonight can finally make peace with whatever my decision is.i hardly believe so though

Guys I-stop, how does it really work? I notice when I’m idle, the I-stop symbol is not lighted. Only once a while randomly it appears and engine off.

On a second note, i toggled only yo audio for lane keep assist but still I get a tug of vibration when I’m changing lanes. Is this a bug? Anybody experience this too?
*
Seriously, RTFM. Page 4-12 to 4-18.

This is to tell you to use your turn signals whenever you change your lanes. Not a bug. Seriously, whenever you change your lane, use the signal. I don't know how do you even pass the driving test.

The signal activation also activate the blind spot monitoring to warn you of any incoming vehicles, especially bikes that may pass through from behind when you cannot see them through the rear or side mirror.

And that is why they equip the car with EFB batteries. This is different from normal car batteries as EFB batteries were designed to withstand frequent start/stop of the engine.

Mainly made to satisfy US and EU regulation call for environment legislation. One car may not seems much but multiply this feature in many cars, the benefits are there.

according to Mazda, i-stop is there to help save fuel (from its already very fuel efficient engine) but i think something was lost in translation. given that i-stop can only last for a maximum of 2 mins, i doubt there can be any significant savings in fuel so my take is that it's more for the environment.

shutting off the engine completely to reduce CO2 emission - this will help Mazda meet emission standards in some parts of the world (EU etc).

I have seen the Platinum Quartz in metal and it looks alot like Honda's Champagne Frost Pearl that the Honda Accord used to have - it looks a bit "mature" for the Mazda 3 or the CX30.

I think it will look great in its bigger siblings, Mazda 6 or the CX-5 - should look glorious in the CX-60.

I would take it if I were you. I did the same thing too..wanted the sedan but was told by SA there are some LB h+ available.

The way I see it..if you could accept the colour/spec variant it's ok to take it on the basis where Mazda 3 2nd hand value is surprisingly strong. I remember seeing a 1.5 LB 2019 going for 119k. 3 year car less than 20k depreciation, wouldn't be a huge pain if you decide to change car 3 years later 🤣

that listed price you saw for the 2019 1.5 Mid-spec LB is the price of a pre-owned car (as in Mazda's test unit). you wouldn't be able to get that price for one that has been used by a daily driver.

realistically, you'll be looking at about RM100k.
