Almost similar review to Re004. Good on dry but not so on wet. Only Michelin PS3/4 were good at wetLYN Mazda 3 Owners/Fans Club V10, Zoom-Zoom w/ Kodo

QUOTE(our_team89 @ Jun 23 2021, 07:54 AM) Is it possible for our car to use 215/50R18 tyre? Feels like going for a little bit comfort compared to current 215/45r18 for me best is follow factory spec size. i know 45 series might not comfortable. even on my accord, factory size 235/45/18 had the same feeling. |

QUOTE(outpace @ Jul 29 2021, 11:36 PM) Have Mazda owners finally come to an end on deciding whether to change GB oil? ATF? Just change it. Even ZF gb also recommended to change the atf eventhough bmw Malaysia said it seal for life atf. 2nd, warranty capped at 100k km, some cx5 owner had gb k.o right after 110k km. No warranty at that mileage. While some cx5 owner do atf change at 60k km, the atf already become black and worn out look. Some dramas on whether to change or not to change between the Service Centre and aftermarket workshops |

QUOTE(kitchong @ Aug 14 2021, 06:24 PM) Already went back to the coating shop. They removed those spots with with more concentrated car shampoo. Haven’t test if the coating is still there yet. I am gonna buy a Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and a pressure washer. Hi, they just wash it by hand? Or using machine etc? |

QUOTE(clature @ Aug 16 2021, 09:49 AM) Kinda curious as to why you would ask this. maybe the 18" tyre noise sound factors. can add tyre section insulation materials there to minimize the sound |

QUOTE(Jedi @ Aug 21 2021, 12:07 AM) Hi I am considering this car if civic 2022 doesn't release before CNY Just replace the skytint at windscreen. That the lowest IRR % of all at 55%. Rest with 97% IRR. For me, replace that and double tint all with my brand of choice. I wish to ask owners of current gen any issues so far? Here's my few Concern: Comes with skytint. My plan is to Strip it and install vkool if it's not good. Turanza tyres. I think I'll instantly trade it for pilot sport 4 or potenza The sunroof. Maintenance? Ps4 is a good set up. Bridgestone tyre are great on dry but generally all their model poor at wet vs Ps3/4 |

QUOTE(Kagekiyo @ Aug 24 2021, 09:58 AM) Speaking of PPF car coating, now when i take a look at my 3+ year old Mazda 3 white 3rd gen i do observe a number of paint chips of varying sizes (from small to medium) especially at the front lip/bumper area, door and side skirting. Does it bother me? Nope. It depends on ways of driving. If u spend most of time in highway, u are getting stone chip freely. Unless u drove 90kmh all ways. In my car, one without anything, just bought the car and use it as usual. Now after 7 years, the paint is faded, the front area all had massive stone chip. I spend moderate traveling at highway due to works and average 140-150kmh, it gets free stone chip. If want to paint, i need to spend rm2.5k above for repaint all. On my recent purchase car, I spend some for coating, and front area ppf. It does look good as brand new after 1 year using it. So the feeling of a new car is there even after a year using it, that good in my idea.I'd say it's impossible to prevent such wear and tear with our local road conditions and also attributing to the fact that Mazdas are known for their relatively thinner factory car paint coating. It will probably be most cost effective to spray paint the entire car body with a new coat of paint after say, 5 years of ownership versus spending a hefty amount for PPF car coating if the minor paint chips don't bother you. |
