So if you want to teach Bermaz a lesson, don't buy any of their cars. Simple as that. No one buys their cars, maybe they'll have something to think about. But nope, we really must have that Mazda 3, which enforces my second point above.

Lol this.

Some people just cannot accept this and would rather be miserable with it.

I can relate! Since i tend to pigeon hole myself into niche choices laugh.gif
(Just the sedan c segment like Mazda 3 is also one of many choices i [though, more like wife and family] made)

Since some of you PM me what dashcam I used, its Viofo a139 Pro 2 Channel (You can get it in Lazada/Shopee). It comes with the latest Starvis 2 sensor, 4K resolution for Front, FHD for Rear.

Here's the post where I upload the video. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=106711813

Installation I did at Sicurez, highly recommended. No cut wire.

You could probably DIY A hood for that infotainment lol

for the Mazda3, it's not so much on the tires but the torsion beam rear setup - my Altis that runs on 225/45/R17 rides indefinitely better than the 206/60/R16 that i'm currently running on.
*
and that's one of my pet peeves during my test drive. and i am strictly on the performance aspect since i am not a passenger sitting behind to worry about comfort.

it just doesn't trails intuitively especially during corner exit. turn ins i would rate the Mazda 3 being better over the Civic, but mid corner and corner exits, the Mazda 3 just falls short so badly sad.gif

Regarding the jinba-ittai driving experience, unfortunely, it is not something that i can feel...maybe i am just not aware of such thing.

Fuel efficiency: 9.8km/l - 10.2km/l in city, 14.8km/l - 15.5km/l at highway
*
IMHO what really bogged down that experience is the engine and transmission. (The drive train basically), and to an extent, the steering response (the feedback is good though) with the chassis in relation. The torsion beam is not doing it any favours and the car is not as responsive to rotate especially on slow turns.

The transmission is only good to people who die die cannot accept CVT. But efficiency wise, and especially driving sportingly, it's just really sluggish and not very intelligent.
That said however, the manual shifting is still OK OK. It's not ZF8 or DCT, but not as bad as it is when being left on automatic.

As for FC, coincidentally i just posted 19KM/L On another thread lol!
