M3 2016 skyactiv owner here. ran 240k km without changing the ATF. should i change or pakai sampai pecah? the transmission does not have any jerking whatsoever. hmmmm

I usually keep a bottle of touchup paint (basecoat) either from Ezytouchup or Autospa. It's easy to search for the paint you want in their shopee catalogue. Alternatively you should be able to find the color code on the body plate attached to either the driver or passenger's side door.

I only had a Mazda 3 2010 back then with their crystal white pearl and it works great. I scuffed the front bumper on a divider and was able to touch up nicely.

Using the touchup paint is like nail painting where the tiny brush is attached with the cover, i just apply very small and thin layer to the chipped area. It won't look as good as new but it helps not looking obvious after touching up, also helps prevent rust in the future.

Is the spare parts for Mazda more expensive or comparable with other Japanese cars? Looking at a 2nd hand 2012 Mazda 3 recently.

I went for CX-30 bcuz I can't afford the extra 20k price of 3  

I'm an anti-SUV person, but personally I still rather take CX-30 with the NA engine and 6AT over Civic
and CX-30 is so sleek, it doesn't have that SUV/crossover look imo

my mum tried sitting at the back seat of 3, she said CX-30 better

I have a relative selling his mazda 3 to me for 100k, 2020 2.0 high plus full spec.

Mileage is around 45k, still got 2 years of warranty.

just got my mazda 3 ignite 3 days ago. initially i chose high plus but after much consideration, i ended up with ignite. 9k doesnt look like much but not less either. been in a dilemma for a long time. fast forward to today, no regret on getting the ignite especially it comes with black wheels, 12 speakers and 360 cam. 

unfortunately the offer is fixed, either dash cam or 1k rebate. please bear in mind the 1k rebate is not given by the SA from their commission.

i tinted mine on top of the ori tint as i do not want to remove the ori ones. as for wireless android auto, u can buy carlinkkit for wireless connectivity.

normal wear and tear only like absorber, brakepad, and sparkplug. major parts are still original.

im doing this for next service. any recommended place , ask fb mention vbcarbon auto something at shah alam. but to far from my place. they quote 400+ i think.

would like know if replace the windscreen require FSC calibration or not

My problem is even scarier... middle of a roundabout, suddenly the car engine died. Car still moving, i released and pressed the brake few times....pressed push start button.... only the engine back to live.

Checked at SC, battery is still strong. Did IDS scan (RM85), no error in the report.

This is the second time i encountered this, last time was the battery connection was loose.

anyone changed gearbox oil at SC? i was told rm740.

or better do outside? any workshop can recomment?

I thought M3 should come with Stop & Go already?

yeap, RM30k sounds about right.

I sold my CX-30 within 6 months, bought at around RM153k and sold at RM121k.

personally, i don't think there's a 8-speaker BOSE system in the Mazda3. It's not available anywhere in the world and not even in Japan as an option. The BOSE is meant to be with a 12-speaker set up.

so, i'd press "doubt" on the SA however if given what the SA said is going to be true then Bermaz is really mutilating the bastardizing the entire Mazda3-BOSE collaboration experience. it's sad but i feel even more sad for those who are going to spent around RM160k for a car that has been stripped.

then again, the MS version is not made by Mazda Japan, it's "modified" here locally. Mazda Japan has nothing to do with the MS version.
the chrome finishing was deleted because of complains that there were peeling off prematurely, not so much of a "cost-cutting" measurement. it's either quality issue or user-problem (eg: pressing with the finger nails, oily fingers etc.) but i would place my best on the latter.



my 2019 had no such problems until the day i sold it off in 2024 but yes, you can replace them back to its chrome counterpart but it's going to be the entire bottom assembly, the buttons are not separate. it is also going to be very expensive.

my advise, don't fix what is not broken. if you have local people tinker with a CBU car then chances are something may not fit right after that and you could very well end up with scratches, panel gaps or worst, rattles.

in any event, the black buttons are much cooler - it is also consistent with all the newer Mazda models.

Personally prefer matt finish than chrome. I am driving CRZ ZF1 MT. the matt silver finish on the steering wheel also came off on some areas.
Anyone using leather steering wheel covers? My hands have callus so definitely will "makan" the steering wheel surface  . Currently prepping for the Ignite Edition.

granted we dont know the full spec yet, but that SUV is only 20k+ more expensive than the HB Ignite
