My idea the first battery that come from factory or brand new car, dont expect it to have a great life. We don't know when was the battery manufactured, how long the car is idling at storage area etc.
Both my car had not so last long battery life for a new car in comparison with a new battery replaced after.

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Jun 19 2023, 10:22 AM) i did consider about that initially, but didn't opt for it, because of price and needs to be removed, repainted, reapplied after few years, which is another cost. Then i found that i have serious OCD, and can't tolerate the rock chips... Just ordered touch up paint, let's see if i can fix it. the touch up won't work great tbh. just spend rm200-300 to spray the front bumper annually.

QUOTE(_kilakila_ @ Jun 19 2023, 11:15 AM) Tbh I don't feel any extra power for ron97. This gen4 bp is kinda not fuel efficient for me already lol. Fuel efficiency around 10-11litre/100km. no extra HP, Nm for using 97 if the engine is tuned for 95

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Jun 19 2023, 01:55 PM) RM200 - 300 is quote by bermaz mazda? hmm, my fuel efficiency is around 10km/l for city drive, while 14 - 15.5km/l for highway drive. I think depends on driving behavior? outside painting shop. 14-15km/l is similar to my 9 years old Honda Accord 2.4 FC at highway. This post has been edited by ayamxxx: Jun 19 2023, 02:43 PM

QUOTE(_kilakila_ @ Jun 19 2023, 01:40 PM) Then no reason for using ron97 I assume..except for better engine maintenance maintenance for engine cleaning? Most brands sold here cw the same package additive for their 95 and 97. If for GDI configuration, expect to get carbon deposit cz that the drawback of it.

QUOTE(Kar Weng @ Jul 16 2023, 01:27 AM) I'm referring to the Liftback, so there's only Normal (1.5L) version and H+ version, I think there's no H in Liftback. What do you mean by upgrading trim level? I approached a SA he couldn't even give me an estimated date, will be approaching another one soon after going for a test drive. If it me I will approach all SA i can find online and FB. From past experience, majority of Bermaz Mazda SA are not really helping much. From online and few call, i got rm2k rebates by SA for Cx5 2.0 3 years ago.

QUOTE(gundamsp01 @ Sep 11 2023, 08:45 PM) 4 months now, sedan, no rattling sound at all. But tire already changed once due to pothole, that's the risk with low profile tire. Aside from that, the paint is thin, advisable to have ppf installed. I didn't do that, damn regret now. U safe like rm2k for omit the PPF but can send to repaint if anything

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Sep 14 2023, 11:07 AM) multiple layers of paint does not mean it is thick (eg: 4 layers of 3microns is still thinner than 1 layer of 15microns). how Soul Red Crystal achieved its vibrant red color is because how thinly the paint is spread across the body panels. you can test this by applying only once a thick code of paint over a piece of paper and then right next to it, a multiple thinly coat one. this method also help MAZDA reduce the adverse impact its has on the environment as studies have shown, conventional car painting methods are very inefficient and is costly to the environment. this is why MAZDA's "Takumi" technique is revered world wide. Good for environment, more efficient but thin. That why u heard many Mazda owner complaining the easily chip off paint on their new car

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Oct 9 2023, 05:28 PM) I'm actually more concern about the squeaky rotors when the car is crawling / inching in traffic. Got it replaced under warranty about a year ago and somehow, it seems to have crept back. SC identified the brake pads as the cause but i highly doubt it. Local vendor for the pad? If it HM model, it known to have brake juddering issues, thanks to made in Thailand pad

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Oct 10 2023, 09:37 AM) what "HM model"? ... and no, the squeaking/screeching sound has nothing to do with brake juddering. "rattling sounds" are one of the most difficult to diagnose and fix simply because there is no easy way to identify exactly and accurately what are the causes and 9/10 times, your SC will return the finding of "no sound heard" and then just send you on your way. you can raise the issue in the Mazda app so that at least it is on record that the sound already existed and then highlight to them again on your next service but chances are, the SC is going to require you to leave the car for a whole day and then come evening, they will tell you the "sound" cannot be replicated. eventually, you will get bored with it and learned to accept it as it is Honda Malaysia. Their pad made in Thailand had many quality issues. Juddering is well known. Believe the squeak and screeching sound, from the brake come from the Pad.

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Oct 10 2023, 09:50 AM) what drives you to think that Bermaz would source parts for its CBU cars from local OEM manufacturers? furthermore, the squeaking/screeching sound has nothing to do with brake juddering  Mentioned from the pad. The squeaking/screeching, also the juddering for same cases. If the car under warranty, demand to SC for all checking and parts claim.

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Oct 10 2023, 10:55 AM) your reply sounds almost exactly like how a bot would reply generally to every single thing that it has absolutely zero idea what it is about. my advise is, moving forward, don't reply just for the sake of replying unless you actually have a solution or something valuable to share which car owner does not know if a car is still under a manufacturer's warranty, they can try and raise a claim? Yeah from someone who said too much in Accord thread until all disagree. Cheers mate

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Nov 16 2023, 12:45 PM) this is news to me, tyre shops help u keep? I never changed rims before, dunno how it works was thinking to change my CX-30 rims, but SA warned me it will void warranty Never heard unless that shop belong to his family shop. Most of time they ask u to keep at home for their space issues. Suggest take that stock ori rim & tyres at home and use it for any warranty claim issues later in future.
