You don't need japan made rims, proper taiwan brand like advanti can be considered :
https://www.mudah.my/New+18+Advanti+Storm+S...HR-69981008.htm

Or proper thailand manufacturer like lenso :
https://www.mudah.my/New+Ori+18+Lenso+Venom...RV-72344613.htm

Or else good condition second hand japan rims ;
https://www.mudah.my/Rim+ORIGINAL+ADVAN+RG2...+3-69754276.htm
https://www.mudah.my/18A+Rays+Gram+Lights+5...ie-71080142.htm
https://www.mudah.my/Rays+gram+lights+18x7+...48-67456114.htm
https://www.mudah.my/Ori+18a+Enkei+PF01+Ori...AN-72379020.htm

A word of caution, the front overhang of this car is a little long, can scratch/bang the bottom easily it easily. If you add further skirting, you can expect a lot of cold sweat moments.

At least your SA wasn't shitting you, thumbs up to him/her.

For coating, if you really want to maintain/improve the surface lustre, go for it. If you do it for the sake of protection, it is an absolute waste of money as it requires "maintenance" (baffling....)

Thanks for the opinion bro.

Yeah. My SA is one of the best I’ve met so far. Quite lucky. Most of the updates given by her were accurate.

SUV also had long and big front bonnet, i think you just need to get used to the lowered height and reduced field of vision.

I would say you drive the car for at least a year so you can get a hang of it and the places you frequently go. By then you can better judge whether the skirting is worth a try. But i scratched the bottom part of the front part a few times already due to the overhang.

This mazda3 a little odd for the front partly due to the design (looks best if view from the rear 3 quarter angle) and engineering wise as the exhaust extractor design is longer than the average. The plus side is the added responsiveness and efficiency of the engine.

one thing i am learning is to stop having the mindset that i can ramp my car at any place.

No, the only thing that is not stock are the engine oil and tyres tongue.gif

All else remain the same.

Hahaha....have to adjust your "road flexibility expectations". But this mazda 3 is no slouch when comes to some off roading trip as long as within limits. I managed to wade through a swampy plantation field for 2 hours when other cars around me were 4x4 or trucks.

I also want to change rims la, they are so damn heavy....but $$$ not sufficient tongue.gif

Once you tasted the high end stuff, OEM stock stuff no oomph.....Further, the NVH for mazda3 is not it's strengths, so i guess you'll likely change the ICE someday in the future soon smile.gif

It is at mudah.my website, just type in the search column and you have it. my.carousell.com also have some.

But firstly, you have to know what to search/what you want. I know about certain brands, so i just type in the brand name and sort by price. if you see those they write "ori design" or "design", those are replicas made by unknown manufacturers.

Since you're into ICE, i guess you should know a bunch of car kakis. You can ask for their help for first hand clarification.

Replica ones won't suddenly bent on normal driving. The risks comes when you hit something hard or a deep pothole. Some replicas undeniably can last throughout the lifetime of the car, but the risk is there for the owner to consider (provided the owner knows that it is a replica, some shops do cheat unknowing people).

Heard from my SA, the skyactiv-x engine require a higher grade of fuel. So maybe that’s the reason why they don’t want to bring in to Malaysia.
*
Probably SA bullshit. Our petrol quality is considered good and better than many of the petrol grades you can get in U.S. The Skyactix-X engine is definitely going to be launched in U.S.
