I'm bored so i did this Spreadsheet to calculate the estimated total monthly / yearly cost of ownership of a car.

Not sure if i'm doing this right though:

Axia (Mistake on the car name)

Vios (Mistake on tayar size. FOrgot to change. Supposed to be 185/60R15 but the price is already correct)

HRV

Civic

Mazda 6

Notice that even Myvi G standard, you have to allocate extra RM100+ per month for Maintenance + Tayar + Insurance + road Tax. Let alone the top variant

Ayam not sure even someone who earn RM2500 supposed to be able to pay RM700+ for car alone.

(Note that above is exclusive of petrol, toll and parking cost)

RM2500 - 11% EPF = RM2225 net earning

minuss RM700 = RM1.5k+ only balance. For fresh grad, buy an Axia G sudahla or 2nd hand car

why u put Civic 9 year loan? shud've make it all consistent. Even DP% also varies. This kinda understates cost of ownership for Civic.

Now more ktards with 3k celery will flock to buy Civic lulz

You should put the same amount of downpayment for every car in terms of ringgit, not percentage.

Tyres for first two years should not be counted.

If you include tyres, why not include total fuel cost per year at 20,000km per year?
