Guys, I'm going to buy a multieffect proc but dunno which one is better: Zoom G2.1u or Line 6 Floor POD? sweat.gif Any pros n cons or experience with any of these two multieffects? I'm going to use it for home practising/recording and jamming. Pls advise.

I would go for the floor pod because the Zoom, well... doesn't compare in terms of audio quality.

Only problem, it doesn't have a USB out for recording unlike the Zoom 2.1u....but you can always connect it via your soundcard if you really want.

hmmm... hmm.gif so floor pod has better quality than g2.1u. does this means my pocket will burn more money to buy the floor pod? how much is the estimated cost?

Believe it or not.... some people buy a multi-fx BECAUSE it's a multi-fx....

And don't forget, not everyone has a big budget to buy individual effects and amps... so a multi-fx, even though not as good quality as individual, still works best on a budget.

And it's not from the effects from the Spider 2.... it's from the original POD itself..... so it isn't THAT bad....

And don't knock on the Line6 Man........if it's good enough for Mustaine.........

It's definitely better then the Zoom. Heck, most multi-fx are better then Zoom anyway. But have you thought about other brands?
The Korg Toneworks ax1500g is a pretty good buy too.

But don't get Digitech's lower offerings. I heard them when I was at Bents.... not as good as what I'd hope for.

And if you search this thread for Multi-FX or Multi Effects, there are alot of threads on the subject already.

HOWEVER..... if your question is just about either The Line6 Floor Pod or The Zoom 2.1u???? Floor Pod. Hands down.
