Hello everyone,

I am apparently having difficulties with my computer.

While I was playing Dota 2 and Fortnite, my PC suddenly reboots. Everytime i want to play the game.

So I did some research and people said it might be an overheating issue, so I tried unigine heaven benchmark.

I did it for about 30 minutes, and my PC didn't reboot. I am really hoping that someone could help me please.

No idea then. My previous encounters with this were cpu related. Try stressing the cpu. If not then maybe your motherboard is gone

Please run for at least 2 hours. 30 minutes stress test is too short.

Did your PC had this phenomena?

I just ran fortnite and just landed and crashed. It wasn't even 20 minutes. Which stress test should I do GPU or CPU?

It restarted, I didn't press the power button.

I hv the same problem. At first it wopuld automatically reboot when running certain games. Over time, it would automatically reboot when running most games. Eventually it would automatically reboot even when running Chrome.

I haven't.

I noticed it tends to automatically reboot less frequently if I leave the PC unplugged for a while, which is why I kind of suspect that it may be the PSU. Then the problem occurs gradually with increasing frequency.

I hv eliminated Windows as the root of the problem coz it still happens after reinstalling and fully updating Windows 10. That was March this year I think, and the rig has been unused since.

Then I've been too busy getting married, buying my house, renovating, moving and settling in to give a shit (got other laptops to do my work). This month my term papers are due, next month final exams... so I think I can only strip the rig down after CNY, install a SuperFlower unit and see how it goes.

If still bonkers after that, fcuk it... I'll flog off the parts, build a new AMD rig and knock the cost off next year's income tax.

So I need to replace a new MOBO?

I found something, when I am playing games, my GPU Temp will reach up to 80C and hangs the game until it coolsdown.

As you can see in the image, when the graph goes down that means the game hangs and start to cool down.

If I am idling and browsing normally my PC won't restart. Can someone come up with this solution please.

1. Download ASUS RealBench https://rog.asus.com/articles/news/realbenc...-available-now/ - stress test it for 15 minutes.

2. Download Furmark http://ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ - Test it for 5 minutes.

See which one makes it fail. RealBench tests everything on your system, but not stressing on graphics card.

Furmark stresses your graphics card.

Another thing you can note is whether the reboot time is random or almost always same time period, that's a good indicator.
