The secure method is by bank-in... If you are trading with huge amount of money and you use middle man method what if the buyer/seller robs the middle man after he/she made the deal.
This is some true story I heard from other people which involving huge amount of money. So it is best to make a payment tru bank-in..

You might consider escrow services if its a large amount tho they do charge a premium. An example of an escrow service would be Lelong Safe Trade.

Eg. RM 500 phone. how do they charge?
