I once paid an item and i believe the seller forgot to send the item. I did not contact the seller but wait for the system to auto cancel, but the system never cancel it. No idea if the system can really auto cancel.

Thanks for the info. For my case above it's already settled. Seller later send the item TWO WEEKS later. Means after I paid, seller does not update any status, gives tracking number, chat or email for two weeks.

If I'm not mistaken, once you paid, there is a date given saying something like "if seller does not send by 3/8/2018, the order will be cancelled". I thought this is automatic without me having to tell shopee about this but as you say, i might need to alert them regarding that.

Anyway, thanks for the reply again.

I didn't click the extend shopee guarantee
I guess that's may be why it didn't auto cancel

Nope for me. Not sure what's the problem.
At that time, seller did not update any status or gives any tracking number at all.
