Shopee actually protects seller more than buyer compare lzd/Ebay/ali.
Go and read shopee t&c.

You r screwed if there is shipment issue as shopee see shipping problem is bear by buyer not seller if the seller can give evident eg. Post office receipt or shipping # which do not solve buyer does not receive item issue.

They held logistic parties as another party instead as part of the seller's mechanism.
so it become buyer vs seller (shopee/seller) + logistic.

Dont be childish, am not fan of any platform; i use whichever give me the best value.

Basically, it is a buyer and seller agreement. Shopee, seller and logistics are considered as a single entity in this case. Seller offer terms include total price and delivery commitment; buyer agrees the value.

But if the delivery when beyond committed date; isnt it breaches of the sales contract?

My most recent purchase has no delivery status for 9 days. When contact seller, they said is with poslaju. when raise to shopee, shopee also say is with postlaju and they not willing to mediate the order as buyer "proof" it is with poslaju by provide tracking#. They just mentioned need to wait another 5 days...

Bear in mind for any online purchase, delivery time is the next most important cost for buyer. Isnt shopee are shortchanging buyer in this case?

For other platforms that are buyer friendly, they would have refunded as they see fail in the logistic issue also part of their internal responsible

is about retain value proposition of the platform.

I am ok, it just there are a lot of fans here that start calling name when i highlighted the grey part in T&C and share my experience. The senario will happen to any of shopee buyer as this is the shopee economic setup. The setup is sided shopee follow by seller as both are relieved from certain responsible should the logistic screwed up.

Anyway i am just doing my part by highlight the issue to let others aware, i dont bother by the fan or those whom just wan to show epenis. i did try to explain, but we have to accept not everyone can look into the matter critically nor understand the time value money and follow rules of laws.

SC told me it will follow how you pay. Pay by cc; refund to cc. Pay by wallet, refund to wallet.

The internal sop is 3 days upon refund request seller must respond. Seller can reject with reason.
Then another 5 days for shopee to mediate.

You better to call shopee as their follow up is not thorough.

Their man day only count 9-6 working day. So weekend is not included as part of respond time.

i was given 4 free shipping voucher.
now keen to buy an item, it show "Does not apply to selected products" in check out...

apalah... entice ppl to look for something then cannot use..
waste ppl time only...

In the voucher intro page there is no detail clause else i would ignore it in 1st place... lol

The item i interested cannot use the voucher..
