Is it normal for shopee sellers to cancel order? I bought something from a PRC seller, then seller told me to cancel order after a few days. Told me that the courier won't ship this item, but 2 hours later told me to cancel and reorder. Reorder that time price already double. Kinda looks like a pricing error but still possible when banggood got gila sale. Reported to shopee and shopee told me just cancel cannot do anything.

You don't say? The seller i bought from got 2years+ experience with 4.6 star rating. Just a bit disappointing at how Shopee handles the case. Lazada customer service sucks, but not as bad as Shopee. Kena lagi most of the CS in Shopee all lazy people, like to taichi from one CS to the other.

This also. Previously bought an earphone for like 75 bucks. Came DOA. Dingdong with the seller, they ask to send video, so took video, need to upload to a site those PRC can access, 3 weeks no reply, Shopee said already pass return period, then seller ask to send the DOA item back they will reimburse me the shipping fee. So after all the hassle i got pissed off, i got a written confirmation from Shopee that the seller is going to refund my return shipping fully for the refund. Shopee sent me an email with written confirmation my shipping is going to be fully refunded to me along with the value of the product. I shipped it back with Fedex overnight and sent the bill to the seller. I think was close to Rm120.

Seller went berserk about the shipping fees, then they contact Shopee. At last they refunded me the shipping and the product price. But dunno seller or Shopee refunded me.

Yes i told the seller to cancel it from their side. I refused to cancel. Took a few days, finally they canceled the order.

I made the seller cancel. So they did after a few days. I spoke to the Shopee CS and i show them that the seller told me to cancel. I told them its not my fault so why should i cancel. At last they cancel from their side. AFAIK, seller cancel = penalty. Buyer cancel = nothing will happen to seller. I also lodge a report with KPDNKK just to spite them. Its annoying when you waiting for your item then after a week they tell you they didn't send and ask you to cancel.
