If you are consistently paying RM 78+ monthly phone bill, you may get it from Digi, if more than that, you can get from other telcos such as Celcom (98), Maxis (128). Otherwise, get from Lazada/Qoo10, as they will be saying cheaper than Authorised Apple Resellers.

RM1 lesser. Machines has that going for 5899. If you have a voucher code or something you could probably get it cheaper, otherwise might as well buy from Apple Online official store.

I've never personally purchased from Apple online before, but from the feedback here and what I've read so far, they have pretty good customer service and have a 14-day exchange policy or something like that in case of any defects.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. You can get a hassle free replacement if there's any problem if you purchase directly from Apple Online. Maybe one of the other sifus here who have had the experience may share their experience on this. In the meantime, a number of folks bought from Lazada and so far no problems too.

I bought my 7+ from Apple Online store last year, when it arrived there was a huge scratch across the screen.

Called up Apple Care immediately, explained the situation and they sent DHL to pickup my unit (i think it was the day after).

It took them 2 weeks to ship a replacement though, i guess this was due to low stock levels as I bought it during launch.
If you buy at physical authorized reseller stores, you can open up the units and check for defects. If the unit is DOA (whether cosmetic or hardware failure), you can change a unit on the spot.
I always prefer to buy my apple products from apple online store or physical stores, less hassle and headache if something happens.
