Hoda 2.5D is quite good except for the top ambient sensor part where dusts could get in. Monofilm does a bit better than Hoda in this regard, but can still get dust into the ambient sensor part, but better than Hoda.

Seems like quite common thing...

Damn...looks like not just me. I was recommended by someone to use the HODA all clear SP. but like other said, it is kinda smaller and u will see the edge of the SP on ur phone...that’s kinda of ugly for me. So I am still with the defected HODA and looking for another full coverage.

3D curved complete sealed full coverage edge to edge protection. No gap to trap dirt.

Be warned though that it could take quite long for a warranty claim with SenQ during the second year. I experienced a close to 3 months wait before, ha ha. But that was years and years ago. Could be better now.

It’s something nice to have but not something we expect to use. Lol. Apple is nice to me thus far and hope it will be for me this time around.

Bro you really should go for the iPhone X. The Face ID is so seamless like it’s not there. I mean you don’t even realise it’s recognising your face after a while. I just double tap the screen and the screen lights up then I just swipe up to go to my home screen. Haven’t had any occurrence where it cannot recognise me. Never did use my passcode save for the one time I restart my phone after I finish restoring data from my iPhone 7 Plus.

It is curved to to conform the original screen curve. The screen curves is covered and protected. Anything let it break than the iPhone X screen.

Damn the HODA full screen really got defect. Now the dust seeping through the top sensor camera.
Anyone can recommend another full screen glass that is as clear as HODA?
*
Same here. Kept having dust or lint stuck there. Which SP best?

Oh well. I will just DIY. take out the dust and seal the gap from the top using tape. Casing covered so can’t see the seal.

Wait, what? You don’t use Touch ID? Which means all the while you just use a pin lock or something?
Yeah, water and sweat are the biggest enemy of Touch ID biggrin.gif

I have sweaty hand as well. Each time for the first two months touch id will even work perfectly but the sensor seems deteriorated over time. Not sure is it the coating worn off after sometime on the touch id or what. Just like now the 8 plus i am using still read perfectly even my finger is wet. Same like the 6s plus .

I'm using hoda full coverage as well. A simple blow will clear off some of the dusts. Is the dust affecting the light sensor? If not then y bother? We should be looking at the nice screen. Not looking for dusts!!!

It doesn't turn on by merely touching it...you need to force touch it...
