I've bootcamp in my MB since day 1 and I recently installed Parallels.

The problem is sometimes it runs, sometimes it doesn't. I don't change the settings of Parallels, and when it doesn't operates, it gives an error message of "Unable to open disk image Boot Camp".

Care to explain?

did u set ur parallels to use ur bootcamp partition as its own?
maybe u can set parallels to use its own image...instead of using a boot camp partition...

I am about to install bootcamp, and can't resist the temptation of trying parallels at the sametime. Anything that should watch out for when instaling the parallels immediately after bootcamp? Thanx..

Well, better don't use bootcamp partition cos' it (if you out of luck) *might* corrupt your bootcamp partition. wink.gif

I'm using the XP SP2 orginal not OEM but it gives me a balck screen with "Error In Booting CD/DVD Drive" and hangs there like forever. I've to power off and restart under MAC to eject the CD. Care to explain?

I'm not a gamer either. But i tot bootcamp is suposed to be more stable now. Now I've got to pay another couple of hundred for the parallels for long term. Thinking of going to the Machines tomolo, hopefuly someone there can help..

just buy Parallels online, and work it out with the support team at Parallels...
