Honor 8 Pro has higher resolution screen, headphone jack and larger 4000mAh battery. It easily beat Mi 6 in terms of spec.

Snapdragon 835 hands down beats the Kirin 960. Even Kirin 970 cannot beat the Snapdragon 835 in terms of efficiency and graphics performance. Of course, then there is Xiaomi's UI to deal with.
But in any case, EMUI 5.1 battery life sucks. It still sucks in EMUI 8.0 on the Mate 10. |

Battery life is about equal. For camera, I think it's about the same according to reviews. Good enough to take pics for personal use, but if go out with friends, use their ipong or s8 or pixel.
Now for the differences. Snapdragon is better than Kirin, but smoothness of the phone depends on the skin as well. I prefer EMUI as it's smoother than miui. It's my own personal opinions after using both brands on honor 6 and redmi note. Both are lower end models at that time, so my comparison may not apply now. But I am using honor8pro now and got no problems with the UI. But go for honor if u are used to bigger phones. |

QUOTE(Alastor @ Dec 11 2017, 07:41 PM) Well, there are performance test saying h8pro beat Samsung s8 in doing alot of task in a short space of time. So, even if Snapdragon is more powerful than Kirin, for everyday usage, Kirin might perform better. Of course, the s8 might have lost because of its bloat, but the miui is pretty heavy as well. |
