hi all wood masters
i'm a home diy beginner. being a beginner, i dont have many tools.
i've just glued 4 pieces of 2x4 pines to make a table top size 5' in length. the problem is that the timber does not align properly. i saw some misalignment about 1/8" here and there. the wood is not straight enough.
i hope someone can assist to guide me here in correcting it.
1. is it enough if i go n buy an electric hand planer? can i also finish/smoothen the board with this planer?
2. or should i get an orbital sander instead? can it be corrected with this?
3. buy both?, budget not large la. i understand the quality ones is quite pricey.
currently i only have a circular saw and nothing more.
hoping for your learned advise.
